Sign in Pads
Please make sure you take the time to sign the
attendance pads during worship. Your name, updated
information and comments are critical for us to be
able to stay connected with you. We want to be able
to follow up with our newer guests and with those
who may be missing or have needs.
Shiloh Weather Policy
As we step into the winter, just a reminder that we
will never cancel Sunday morning worship due to
weather unless we are on a level 3 snow emergency or
must do so by law, but we ask that you use your best
judgment about traveling during bad weather and
keep safety your #1 priority. For weather related
emergencies at other times, keep an eye on the local
news channels, the Shiloh website and connect with
your staff or ministry leaders for updates.

Green Welcome Cards
The Green WELCOME cards in the pews and in the
baskets at the back of the worship area are designed
specifically for you to use as invites. They are a mini
snapshot of who we are as a church and what’s
happening at Shiloh. Keep a few of these in your purse,
wallet or car and remember our question: “Who are
you bringing to Jesus through Shiloh in 2017?”

One Step Closer Every Day
Spend a few minutes every day, reading, meditating and praying with
God so that you can take one step closer to Jesus every day.
Pastor Dave Hood
The Language of Love
Day 1 – 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 – Notice how love is most
often demonstrated in the words that we use. How do
can you make sure that your words are filled with love?
Day 2 – Psalm 19:1-14 - What is the connection between
the words of our mouth and the thoughts in our hearts
according to verse 14?
Day 3 – James 3:1-12 –James reminds of the struggle we
have with keeping our tongue and the trouble it can
cause. Reflect on a time when what you said got you in
trouble.
Day 4 – Proverbs 16:1-33 – Words matter. How can we
make sure that the words of our mouths are the words
that God would want us to speak?
Day 5 – Luke 6:37-45 – What do you think is the link
between being judgmental and a heart that is filled
with love? What is your heart full of?
Day 6 – Proverbs 15:1-33 – It’s hard to speak love when
we are angry or hurt. Think about what you need to do
to tame your tongue even in difficult circumstances.
Day 7 – Ephesians 4:1-16- Love doesn’t mean that we
ignore sin or injustice. What does it mean to “speak
the truth in love?”
