Funky Chunky 6PC News Birthdays in March WELCOME TO 6 PC! Hello again parents, welcome to our newsletter edition number 2! I hope you are feeling great, because you’re about to get amazed of what we have been doing in class lately. Get ready to read the hits that 6 PC has to tell you! Zac and Briony had birthday’s this Month. Zac’s birthday was on the 6th and Briony’s was on the 24th. Briony brought in some delicious cupcakes! Hope you both had a fantastic day! Religion - Each group has to present a ritual to the class on a certain topic, e.g. Peace. Everyone has been working really hard. Buddies Last week we planted lettuce seeds with our buddies and they are already starting to grow. When all the lettuce has grown we are going to have a salad together! How exciting! (Sam and Jack) Health – The project we are working on is about nutrients. We have to create a brochure on one nutrient, eg, protein, fats. After we present our nutrient we will have a nutrient picnic day. This will happen on Wednesday the 13th April. We all have to bring some food in with our nutrient in it. In the library with Mrs Furbur we have been learning how to do social booking on Diigo. We have been learning how to write a discussion with Miss Praehofer and in Mrs Penman’s class we have been doing lots of comprehension and also questioning, ‘SHOULD ANIMALS PERFORM IN A CIRCUS?’ Well that’s all folks!
