How to Program Your FiOS Remote With Your TV Menu
Programming your FiOS Remote will help you get the most out of FiOS
entertainment. To set up your FiOS Remote to work with just your TV, follow the
steps below. To program a FiOS Remote that can control multiple devices, skip
to page 5.

Step 1
To program your remote to control just your TV, first turn on
your TV using the TV’s power button, or the remote supplied
with your TV. Turn on your FiOS Set Top Box (STB), and make
sure you can see live television.

Step 2
On your FiOS Remote, press and hold the OK button. Press
and hold the FiOS TV button, then release both buttons. The
red LED will blink twice, and stay on.
Step 3
Point the FiOS Remote at your TV, then press and hold the
Play button.

Step 4
The remote control will try different codes that might match
your TV, sending one every second.
Step 5
When your TV turns off, immediately release the Play button.
This will lock in the correct code to control your TV. To test the
remote, turn the TV back on with the TV Power button.

If you released the Play button too late, use the Channel
button to go back to the previous code, or move forward.
Step 7
Test your Volume and Mute buttons. If any button doesn’t
work as expected, press and hold that button until it works,
then release it immediately.

When you’re done, press OK to save these settings. The red
LED will blink three times and then turn off.
