Your Strength of Schedule is defined as which court you normally play on, where you play on the spectrum from Court 3 to Court I. See worksheet to compute your Strength of Schedule. Your Winning Percentage is defined as the total number of points you won divided by the number of matches you played. See worksheet to compute your Winning Percentage. If you have a Strength of Schedule of 2.75-3.00, indicating that you play a great majority of your matches on Court 3, and have a Winning Percentage on Court 3 of 20% or lower, you must move to the lower Cup level than your previous season. If you have a Strength of Schedule of 1.00-1.25 or higher, indicating that you play a great majority of your matches on Court 1, and have a Winning Percentage on Court 1 of 70% or higher, you may move to the higher Cup level than your previous season. If you have a Strength of Schedule between 1.26-2.74, then you should remain at your current Cups level as long as your USTA rating also matches your Cups level. If your strength of schedule falls into this range and you have a winning percentage below 20% or above 70% you may want to meet with the Tennis Director. You need to know your stats to assure that you sign up at the level where you belong. To do this, look on the www.cuptennis.com website and use the worksheet below to make a list of the matches you played and points earned during your most recent Cups season. List each match as a win, loss, or shared points. Here is an example of a list you could make: Number of Matches Court 1 1 Loss (0 pts.)
