SCHEDULE OF CHARGES Effective from the 31st of July 2011 DOMAIN SLIPWAY Labour rates applicable to all slips and work carried out on behalf of Clients. Slipway Supervisor - $75.00 / Hour between 0730 -1700 Mon-Fri. $80 / hour overtime Slipway Fitter - $70.00 / Hour between 0730 -1700 Mon-Fri $80 / hour overtime Contractor Boilermaker - $91.40/hour Contractor Fitter - $91.40/ hour. Contractor Electrician - $91.40/hour Painter to quote Labourer - GP - $50 / Hour between 0730-1700 Mon-Fri and $70 /Hour overtime Crane Hire to current prices must be ordered through the Domain Slipway only. NO. 1 SLIPWAY: The slipway is to be set under supervision of the slipway supervisor. Usually this is completed by the supervisor and the fitter. Other labour may be required and will be charged at short term engagement of $70.00 per hour. The owners will not be able to supply labour to set the slipway except by private treaty. The crane will be engaged by the slipway supervisor and charged at competitive rates back to the account of the client. Haul out charge at $1620 minimum with $27.50 per metre over 30 metres LOA. Return to water at $430 standard fee Daily hire charge is $320 minimum with $43 per metre over 22 metres LOA Power charge is $60.00 per day. Environmental Levy is $150 per day. Clean up costs will be charged to the clients account. Typically $3000. If required an automatic permanently installed air compressor is to be supplied free of charge to 7 bar. No operational guarantee on compressor. Hoses are supplied. Work shop space will be made available. Waste oil and sludge removal can be arranged. NO. 2 SLIPWAY: The slipway is to be set under the supervision of the slipway supervisor. Usually this is completed with the supervisor and the fitter. Other labour may be required and will be charged at short term engagement of $70.00 per hour. The owners will not be able provide labour to set the slipway except under private treaty. Where required a crane will be hired by the slipway supervisor and charged at competitive rates to the account of the client. Generally the crane is not required. For each cradle the following charges apply: Haul out charge of $220 for each cradle, for vessels up to 15 metres plus $8.50 per metre measured LOA Return to water standard charge of $200 Daily Hire Charge of $135.00 p/day for 15 metres increasing by $20.00 per day measured LOA Power Charge at $55.00 Environmental Levy $55.00 Compressed air is available. (No guarantee of supply.) NO. 3 SLIPWAY: The slipway is to be set up under the supervision of the slipway supervisor. This is usually completed by the supervisor and the fitter. Other labour may be required and charged at the standard rate. If a crane is required during any part of the slipping operation charges will be to the clients account. A standard haul out rate of $165.00 for any vessel and a hire fee of $65.00 per day will be charged. Power charges $35.00 per day when used. Weight limitations will apply. LAYBY BERTH: The cost to work alongside at lay by berth is $200 p/day after the first 24 hours and will be received at the lay by berth 12 hours prior to the scheduled slipping. The slipping is carried out and remains at the discretion of the supervisor. Note: use of this berth is NOT included in Tasports’ home port fees for fishing vessels. CONDITIONS OF SLIPPING: A completed, signed ‘Domain Slip Order Form’ must be provided to the Slipway Supervisor at least 24 hours prior to slipping The owner/agent must provide a Certificate of Currency for insurance on arrival at the lay by berth. This must be for the public liability and risk policies. The owner must supply a written specification of all work to be undertaken while the vessel is on the slip and will provide additional information regarding the progress or changes to the slipping programme while work is underway. TasPorts - NWST reserves the right to stop any work proceeding that may place any part of the slipway, equipment, the vessel or any person at risk to damage or injury. All quoted prices for the operation of the slipway exceptions being the cost of power and water are to remain in place for a period of twelve months form opening date. Before any vessel is delivered to the slipway the owner/agent should supply a full list of work that is to be undertaken in the form of a written specification. The owner/agent is to present names of all members of the crew and contractors employed by him/her to complete the slipping. All are to undertake a refresher induction. Contractors are charged a standard rate of $10.00 p/hour for each person employed on site, during the docking and standby period before and after slipping.
