A Fervent Walk with God
Isaiah 40: 29-31
Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the faint, and to him who
has no might he increases strength. Even
youths shall faint and be weary, and young
men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait
for the Lord shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings like eagles; they
shall run and not be weary; they shall walk
and not faint.
He and all his men went to Baalah in Judah
to bring up from there the ark of God, which
is called by the Name, the name of the Lord
Almighty, who is enthroned between the
cherubim on the ark.

When they came to the threshing floor of
Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of
the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled.
The Lord's anger burned against Uzzah
because of his irreverent act; therefore God
struck him down, and he died there beside
the ark of God.

and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the

Fervor in and of itself is not what God desires,
Just like wisdom in and of itself is not what God
desires.
God desires all of you.
What does a mature and zealous Christian look
like?

It is someone who:
-Waits patiently on the Lord
-Trusts restfully in the Lord
-Hopes expectantly in the Lord
The evidence of a mature everyday Christian is
the endurance to walk step by step
