Developers/Real Estate Round Table Monthly, September-June T he Developers and Real Estate Roundtable was formed to provide a venue where developers, real estate brokers and city and county officials could come together, share information, discuss issues facing these businesses and advocate with the city and county for streamlined processes and procedures. Identifying common issues and stumbling blocks and having the opportunity to discuss with the proper officials has opened the door leading to improved communication between these entities. With the rapid and continual growth Hillsboro is enjoying, it is imperative this communication and honest dialogue continues. This monthly meeting is co-hosted by Mayor Jerry Willey. Manufacturers’ Roundtable January-November T he Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce hosts a Manufacturers Roundtable to support the local manufacturing industry through business engagement. Manufacturers in diverse fields will exchange industry specific information, share best practices, and serve as resources for each other. Roundtables will feature facility tours and provide manufacturers the opportunity to showcase their business and operations. The Chamber will facilitate discussions and provide professionals to address topics covered at roundtables. The Roundtable program will be evaluated and measured for its capacity to offer real assistance to area manufacturers through participant surveys on a quarterly basis and will culminate in an annual Manufacturers Summit at the end of the year.
