CNWL Sexual Health Consultation Introduction Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) is considering future options for locating the sexual health services currently provided at these large centres: • Archway Centre (Islington) Option 2: Reduce the number of large centres from three to two, sharing the services between the other two centres, which would enable a similar level of service as now from those two sites (extending opening hours and number of appointments). • Margaret Pyke Centre (Camden) • Mortimer Market Centre (Camden). Alternative options have been evaluated, taking into consideration: sustainability for the future; accessibility to patients; and detailed clinical analysis (undertaken with senior clinical representatives from all the specialties affected). Option 1: Continue to provide services from all three sites, while reducing the level of service at each (e.g. reduce opening hours or number of appointments). Our analysis shows that the only viable configuration to achieve Option 2 would be to stop providing these services from the Margaret Pyke Centre, and relocate the services currently provided from there to the other two centres. The additional aspects of the Margaret Pyke Centre, such as training, research and referral support will remain in place. This option will ensure that staff and current patients are involved to design the best configuration of services. Now we are seeking your views on these options. Q1.
