What is EC-DME?
EC DME?
What is the significance of EC-DME ?
What influences EC-DME ?
How can you use EC-DME ?
 How
H
EC DME can add
EC-DME

l to
t your
services?
Examples…
What is EC-DME?
The efficiency at which a dairy cow
converts feed to milk (adjusted to 3.5%
BF and 3.05% P), maintenance, and
manure. In it’s simplest
p
form it is the
pounds of milk divided by the dry
matter intake.

What is the significance of ECDME?
Many different metrics are used to
monitor production wellness. None
measure the nutritional efficiency and
variable profitability in a herd as well
as the EC-DME.
