CAMP
AT THE VIRGINIA ZOO
VIRGINIA ZOO SAFARI CAMPS
Dear Parent,
During Summer Safari Camps the Virginia Zoo gives campers
the opportunity to spend time among amazing animals from
across the globe. Each week is an exciting new adventure as
we explore the wonderful world of animals.
The Virginia Zoo offers two different camps for each age
group so children can attend more than one session of camp.
The different camps are designed to complement and build
upon each other. Summer Safari is for students who are
entering first grade through eighth grade in fall 2016. Choose
from nine weeks of full-day (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) sessions. Parents
of kids entering into kindergarten in the fall of 2016, look into
the Virginia Zoo’s Early Explorers summer program!
