Discover the first French city in North America, explore the city sights and learn the fascinating history of Quebec. In the heart of
the Lower Town and site of Samuel de Champlain's first settlement is the beautifully restored Place Royale. The charm of the
square's historic past has been beautifully preserved with its typical 17th and 18th century stone architecture. It is also the location
of the oldest standing catholic church in North America, Notre Dame des Victoires. Overlooking the St. Lawrence River is the
Chateau Frontenac, the best-known landmark in Quebec. Just outside the Chateau is the romantic boardwalk known as Dufferin
Terrace, where you will have a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River, Ile d'Orleans, and the Laurentian Mountains. It was from
this vantage point that Samuel de Champlain built his fort in 1620. You will have approximately 20 minutes to independently visit
the magnificent green-turreted castle or enjoy the view from Dufferin Terrace. Passing through the St. Louis Gate, you will next
explore the National Battlefields Park. Also known as the Plains of Abraham, the park was the site of the historic battle where the
French surrendered to the British in 1759. Transformed into a beautiful 250-acre park with hills, gardens, monuments, and artillery
artifacts, a photo stop will be made at Cap Diamant where you will have spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River, Lower Town,
and surrounding countryside. A unique mixture of new and old is found along the trendy Grand Allee, the Champs-Elysees of
Quebec lined with quaint shops, sidewalk cafes, and boutiques. Before returning to your ship, you will pass the Hotel du
Parliament, an imposing Second Empire-style building. Note: Walking at Dufferin Terrace and Chateau Frontenac is at your own

Quebec City Tour and Montmorency Falls (QU31)
Welcome to New France! In the heart of the Lower Town and site of Samuel de Champlain's first settlement is the beautifully

Before this famous explorer went on to discover New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii, he learned his skills as a navigator and captain
in Newfoundland. The route follows along the coast first explored by Cook over 230 years ago and includes fishing villages
inhabited by people of English, French, and Aboriginal ancestry. The highlights will include the rugged coastal scenery and fall colors
plus we sometimes see wildlife. Another highlight is Captain Cook's Lookout, which includes a National Historic Monument and

up of two buildings and has a permanent collection of over 15,000 objects. Each year many new Nova Scotian, Canadian and
International exhibits are offered with both historic and contemporary art. You can view paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints,
photographs, ceramics and other works that are on display. One of the most viewed exhibits is the Maud Lewis House and Gallery –
yes her entire house is in the gallery, it is tiny as she was in stature but not talent. Maud Lewis is one of Nova Scotia’s most famous
folk artists. Browse the Art Gallery, then sample Nova Scotian wine and cheese in the heart of downtown Halifax. You may also

Historic Halifax Walking Tour (HX05)
There is no way to get closer to the heart and soul of the exciting city of Halifax than to get out and explore Nova Scotia's capital on
foot. Your kilted guide will encourage your questions and share with you many stories of Halifax's past and present. A London style
double decker bus or motor coach will transport you to the city's famed Public Gardens, which is where our tour begins. Since
Victorian times, Haligonians have enjoyed this 17-acre paradise in the middle of the city and here your guide will walk you through
the finest Victorian gardens in North America as you stroll the pathways past trees planted by visiting royalty. Then saunter along
to Citadel Hill where you can gaze over this modern port city. The tour then winds its way down the hill, past the 200-year old Town
Clock, the Metro Centre, City Hall and to Grand Parade, historically a military parade square and now home to Halifax's oldest
building, St. Paul's Anglican Church. Your tour culminates as you reach Historic Properties, once a warehouse for one of the richest
men in Canada! Today Historic Properties is home to boutiques, a waterside restaurant, pubs, and charming shops. If you choose,

Titanic – The 100th Anniversary Tour (HX10)
Let your kilted guide take you on a captivating journey of a great marine tragedy, the sinking of the Titanic. It is a story as
fascinating today as it was almost 100 years ago. While the Titanic lies approximately two miles below the surface of the North
Atlantic it is possible to reach out and touch the Titanic story while in Halifax. It was never intended that the Titanic and Halifax
should meet; however, the two are now inseparable. What the Titanic gave up on April 15, 1912, the City of Halifax now embraces.
Today, you will visit the 121 gravestones of Titanic victims in the city's Fairview Lawn Cemetery. You will also pass by sites
connected to the aftermath of the sinking such as the morgue that accepted the body of John Jacob Astor, the church from which
the unknown child was buried, and the pier from which the MacKay-Bennett, the death ship, sailed to the sinking site of the Titanic
700 nautical miles east of Halifax. Your guide will also take you to visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic where you will see the
largest collection of wooden Titanic artifacts in the world. Hear the tale of the visit to Halifax of Titanic survivor the Unsinkable

The Best of Bar Harbor (BY04)
Departing the pier, your scenic drive along Park Loop Road includes all the highlights of the Acadia National Park tour. Park Loop
Road follows the ocean's edge passing Otter Cliff and Thunder Hole where ocean swells converge against the granite cliffs creating
a thunderous roar. Depending on traffic and weather conditions, a photo stop may be made at Thunder Hole. If designated bus
parking is not available, an alternate photo stop will be made in the park at the tour guideâs discretion. Proceed to one of the most
scenic spots in all of the park, Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on North America's Eastern Seaboard, to enjoy a 360-degree
panoramic view and see how glaciers carved through the granite cliffs to form a beautiful landscape of lush forest, lakes and
valleys. Proceed to the Lobster Oceanarium and Museum where guests of all ages learn about the lobster industry. The Oceanarium
features fascinating displays, an authentic lobster fishing boat, and plenty of hands-on exhibits. A licensed Maine lobstermen
explains the life cycle of these succulent creatures, demonstrates how they are caught, and finally make their way from the ocean's
depths to your dinner table. Continue to the town's historic district to visit a guilded age Mansion, one of Bar Harbor's last
remaining summer mansions overlooking Frenchman Bay. Listed on the National Register of Historical Places, the Mansion is a fine

through Kennebunkport passing the stunning Federal and Victorian style mansions that were built by wealthy sea captains and
merchants in the 1700s and 1800s. A stop will be made in the center of town at Dock Square to embark on a 50 minute scenic
cruise to enjoy panoramic views of Walker's Point and Maine's rugged rock coast as few people have experienced by sea! Then
enjoy some free time to stroll the picturesque streets lined with shops, galleries, unique boutiques, antique stores, restaurants, and
pubs. Your return route will take you past Walker's Point, the Bush Estate and former Summer White House where world leaders

Maine Lobster Bake and Historic Fort Scammel (PW04)
Enjoy all that Maine has to offer as you board a private boat for a cruise through Casco Bay to a private island for a "Downeast"
lobster bake and a tour of a Civil War Fort. Departing from the waterfront, you will have views of Portland and the surrounding
islands as you cruise through Casco Bay to House Island, home to Fort Scammel. With records dating back to 1661, House Island
was one of the first islands in the Bay area to be occupied. Originally built to defend Portland against the British, the fort was later
used to defend the North against the South during the Civil War. During your walking tour of the fort you will explore the 70 gun
casements, subterranean vaults, archways, tunnels, and circular stairways of this unique fort. After you have worked up an appetite
touring the fort, you will be treated to a traditional Maine feast comprised of a lobster, clam chowder, corn on the cob, cole slaw
and blueberry cake served with coffee and iced tea. For the non-lobster lover, chicken can be substituted. Please advise the crew as
you board the boat. Please note that guests must be able to walk approximately 0.5 mile over even, uneven, and cobblestone
