The symposium focus and showcase theme is "Creative Thinking." DIRECTIONS: Complete the form below and applicable attachments for each submission. Attach files to submission. Submissions may include, but are not limited to categories listed, please check applicable type(s). Original Design (e.g., project or product of apparel, textiles, interior design, art or design) Original Presentation (e.g., project board, research poster, booklet, portfolio) Original Styling of apparel and textiles (e.g., combine existing products to communicate an intended look) Sewn Product from commercial pattern (not an option for students who have completed pattern-making coursework) Other: Explain submission Was Submission was completed for an ATID course? DESCRIPTION: Attach a statement to include purpose and intended market or audience. One-page limit. Include title of submission. 2. PHOTO: Attach a photo of the entry. Garment entries must be on a live model or dress form. Include title of submission. AWARDS: Each submission will be evaluated for acceptance and awards. Submissions may be disqualified at any time. Examples for non-acceptance may include, but are not limited to, lack of citation or inappropriate citation; unacceptable quality, fit, or function; inappropriate for display at a family event; incomplete ensemble; not easily taken on or off; or not able to be displayed appropriately. AWARD CATEGORY ATTACHMENTS: THEME AWARDS: All submissions will be reviewed and considered for general awards; however, to be considered for Showcase Theme or Janet Rees awards, a statement must be attached with criteria below. Include submission title on attachment. Please check which awards are being addressed or the last option if neither themes were addressed. If applying for both categories, include a statement for each – do not combine.
