Body (make 1)
Cast on 12 sts in main color.
Beg with a K row, stst 2 rows.
1st inc row Inc K wise into every st. [24 sts]
P1 row.
2nd inc row (Inc 1 K1) to end. [36 sts]

3rd inc row K1 (Inc 1 K2) to last 2 sts Inc 1
K1. [48 sts]
Beg with a P row stst 11 rows marking
centre of 11th row for face.
1st dec row K2 (K2 tog K3) to last st K1. [39

2nd dec row K2 (K2 tog K2) to last st K1.

To make up
Break off yarn leaving a long end. Thread
through remaining sts, pull up tightly and
fasten off. Oversew row ends tog leaving
hole for stuffing. Stuff lightly. Join
remainder of seam. Gather cast on sts, pull
up tightly and fasten off.
stitches three rows high. Repeat this to the
right leaving approximately 4 sts between
the eyes. Thread yarn back through gather
hole at the bottom of the body. Pull lengths
firmly and knot several times. Cut close to
knot and push ends into body.
Use yellow yarn for the mouth. Thread
length of yarn through gather hole in bottom
of body leaving small thread hanging to tie
off. Poke needle through knitting level with
the marked row. Work three horizontal
oversewing stitches in the middle of the
space between the eyes covering 2 sts.
Thread yarn back
through gather
hole at the bottom
of the body. Pull
lengths firmly and
knot several
times. Cut close
to knot and push
ends into body.
Arms (make 2)
Leaving long end Cast on 4 sts in main
color.
Inc K wise in each stitch. [8 sts]
Beg with a P row stst 7 rows.
Cast off.
To make up
Oversew row ends starting at cast on sts.
Sew to side of body with top edge of arm
level with bottom of eyes.
