If the 1950’s ever return, the church is well equipped and ready! The Next Great Awakening First the Bad News • 80% of pastors say they have insufficient time with spouse and that ministry has a negative effect on their family. • 40% report a serious conflict with a parishioner once a month. • 1500 pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout, or contention in their churches. Listen to the tone, inflection, rate and pitch. Listen not just to what's said, but to what's not said. Pay particular attention to the last thing that is said.
