Nobles:
You are hereby invited to attend a meeting of
the Capital Shrine Club on March 10, 2015 at
the Kanata Legion, 70 Hines Road, Kanata,
ON. Dress for this meeting is – Shrine casual
(no shorts or Hawaiian shirts – yet) with fez.
Social is 1800 hrs (6:00 p.m.), dinner at
1900 hrs. (7:00 p.m.), meeting to follow.
Business for the March Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to update
members on future plans, conduct regular
business and vote on applications.
President’s Message
Well, it’s only 3+ weeks ‘til spring. I can
hardly wait. Enough is enough. It sure is
something to look forward to.
We had a very successful Tunis Lunch
Bunch on Wednesday, February 4 at the
Shrine Center. If you are in the area on
Wednesday, March 11 please come join us for
the next Tunis Lunch Bunch. We will be
taking a count @ 11:30 and then ordering
Pizza. Cost will be $10.00 to cover pizza and
drinks.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015 we have the
Kanata Legion (70 Hines Rd., Kanata)
reserved for our CSC March Regular
Meeting. Cost is $20.00 for Fish & Chips,
salad, dessert and coffee / tea. There may
even be some door prizes available with a St.
Patrick’s Day theme. Of course, spouses are
welcome.
Both of these events are an excellent
opportunity for friends and masons to meet
some Nobles and see what we are about bring them out.
As was mentioned at our February
meeting, the Capital Shrine Club is looking
for a co-ordinator to assist Tunis Temple in
bus transportation to the Montreal Shrine
Hospital Grand Opening on August 20, 2015.
Please give me a call (613-592-5069) if you
can spare a few hours. Mark this date on your
calendar, it plans to be an exciting time and
the only time you will get to have a tour of
the entire facility.
Ill. Sir Dale Olm has asked the Capital
Shrine Club for assistance in the Tunis
Harvest Social and Dinner to be held on
Saturday, October 03, 2015 @ 2140 Walkley
Rd., Ottawa. This will require a committee
and I’m looking for a chairman with the
power to conscript membership. Please call
