This non‐renewable scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman that graduated in the
upper 10% of his/her class. This scholarship is awarded first to anyone from the following
counties: Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, or Westmoreland; and second to a
May 1st
Pennsylvania resident. Interested students should submit a one to two page essay by March
1st
to the Financial Aid Office stating their educational goals at California University of Pa, what
they expect to accomplish with it, and why they are coming to school at California University
of Pennsylvania.
