Hook
ROMAN DAY! The children have taken a step back in time to
explore the historical period when the Romans, and then the
Anglo-Saxons, invaded and settled in Britain. The children
have, and will continue to, use skills of observation and
discovery to find out how Britain changed as a result of the
invasion.

Rampage,’ writing diary entries, letters, character and
setting descriptions leading to the writing of their own
historical story.
History - Investigating the Roman Empire and its
impact on Britain and then moving onto the settlement
of the Anglo-Saxons.
Geography - Locating counties and cities that have
been invaded and settled in.
