Name:
Play the Snakes and Ladders game in pairs or small
groups.
► Getting set up:
• Cut out the faces below to use as counters.
• Cut out the Question Cards and the Mystery
Cards.
• You will also need a dice.
► How to play the game:
• Shuffle the Question Cards and the Mystery Cards
and place them face down in two piles.
• To begin, each player rolls the dice once. The
player with the highest number has first turn.
• To move up a ladder you must first answer a
Question Card. Do this by turning over a Question
Card so that all players can see.
• The player to your left asks the question, you must
answer using the Spanish word for the family
member shown on the card.
• If your answer is correct move up the ladder!
• If you land on a '!' square you must turn over a
Mystery Card. The player to your left asks the
question, and you must answer and follow the
directions on the card.

