Preschool Calendar of Events for 2017
January
Sunday, January 29th: Parent / Child Dedication and Fellowship (9:15 church service)
On this day, you are invited to make a commitment to raise your child in a Christian environment during the
9:15 service. Immediately following the Parent/Child Dedication, you and your extended family will be
dismissed to attend the Family Dedication Fellowship in the Lower Fellowship Hall (9:30—10:30 AM).
This a time of encouragement as Brother Terry Hughes shares biblical principles to help you “train up” your
precious child in the way he (she) should go. Please RSVP to Carlie Gibson (Preschool Administrative

February
Wednesday, February 8th: “Heart to Heart” - Special Mommy & Me Event
(Room 213/214) (6:00—7:15 PM) (Ages 2—4 Year Old / Pre-K)
This will be a fun night for Moms and their Preschoolers! Moms and children will
get to make a special craft together. Contact Holly Greer at 901-531-6786 or
[email protected]. Deadline to RSVP is: Feb. 1, 2017.
Friday, February 17th: Parent’s Night Out (6:00—9:00 PM)
This event is for children ages Birth—5th grade. Children can come in their jammies.
Cost is $8.00/child with a max of $25.00/family. You can sign up in Adult Connection

April
Wednesday, April 5th: Come Bloom with Me (6:00—7:15 PM)
Calling all 2, 3 & 4 year olds!!! Please join us as we get ready to “kick off” Spring!
Children will enjoy a special evening filled with story time, craft making, fun snacks,
and face painting.
Saturday, April 8th: Will God’s Mighty Warrior ((9:00—11:00 AM) (GYM)
This is a very special event for boys, dads, grandfathers and male mentors. Breakfast
will be served while boys learn how to be “Mighty Warriors of God” and connect with
the men who will teach them. Tickets are $10/child (Dad’s & Grandfathers are free).
Purchase tickets in the Grand Lobby on Wednesdays & Sundays starting
Wednesday, March 22nd.
Sunday, April 9th: Palm Sunday (9:15 & 11:00 AM)
2 & 3 year old children will “travel the streets of Jerusalem” as they welcome Jesus
on His donkey during the 9:15 & 11:00 Preschool Connection classes.
Saturday, April 15th: Easter Egg Hunt (10:00—11:00 AM) (Buckhead Creek)
 Fun for kids (Birth—Grade 2) and their families
 Bring your own basket for the egg hunt
 Over 6,000 eggs for you to find

10:00 AM Kidstyle Worship Celebration (beside the concession stand)
(Music, a devotion by our pastor and a take home truth)
10:20 Egg Hunt (Birth—2 Years old)
10:30 Egg Hunt (3, 4 & 5 Year olds)
10:40 Egg Hunt (Kindergarten)
10:50 Egg Hunt (Grades 1 –2)
 Snacks available after each hunt
Sunday, April 16th: Easter Sunday
Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM (The Grove)
Regular services at 9:15 & 11:00 AM / (No Adult / Children Connection Classes)
Normal Preschool classes at 9:15 & 11:00 AM
Sunday, April 30th: 3 & 4 Year old Family Picnic (Buckhead Creek) Pavilion #2 (by the pond) (1:00—4:00 PM)
3 & 4 Year Old Preschoolers and their families are invited to a picnic lunch at
Buckhead Creek for Faith’s 3 and 4 Year Old Preschool Classes! After church on
April 30th, pick up your favorite fast food lunch and bring it to Pavilion #2
at Buckhead Creek for a casual picnic lunch with fellow 3 & 4 year old classmates,
Preschool teachers and Faith families. Dessert will be provided as well as simple games for the children to
play while adults visit.
May
Sunday, May 7th: Preschool Choir & Children’s Choir Musical (6:00—8:00 PM)
Sunday, May 14th: Mother’s Day Parent / Child Dedication

Wednesday, May 17th: ABC Graduation Party (6:00—7:15 PM) (Room 213/214)
Our 3 & 4 Year olds will have completed a 26 week program to learn a verse to
each Alphabetical letter. Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to come
on May 17th for a special presentation of how these children have memorized God’s
Word. Videos are welcome. Ice cream sundaes will be served for all who attend. Hope to see you there!
June

Saturday, August 19th: Back to School Splash Bash (6:00—8:00 PM)
Bartlett Recreation Center—Splash Pad
Sign up in Preschool hallway for this fun event for Preschoolers and their families. Limit: Up to 150 guests
September
ABC Bible Verse Class (Every Wednesday night) (6:00—7:15) (3—4 Year old/Pre-K children)
The “ABC Bible Verses for Children” Program runs Wednesday evenings (September—May).
This fun program helps your child memorize key Bible verses using the alphabet as a tool.
The program includes Bible story, Bible verse memorization, puppet shows, and crafts.
It is amazing to see how children as young as 3 years old can hide God’s word in their hearts! We hope
you will make plans to bring your child on Wednesday evenings!
