Start Slowly & Build Up: when you first switch from drinking tap water to ionized water you need to start slowly. Remember,
ionized water at pH 9.5 is over 100x more alkaline than tap water, so you should start slowly and build up. Start by drinking at
the lowest alkaline level for 7-14 days, then move onto the second alkaline level and finally onto the third alkaline level.

Never Go Above pH 9.5: there is no benefit to be gained by drinking water with a pH of above 9.5 and we do not recommend
it. Your ionizer will sound a warning when the pH is above this level (i.e the Strong Alkaline setting)

The water for the setting you select will always come out of the stainless steel spout.
Listen to the Prompt “The third section of alkaline water is in progress....”: VS-70: To select water
setting and start water flow, press “+” or “-“ to choose the required setting then press the power
button (circle with line through) to start flow. Then listen to the prompt. For the Miracle Max
turn on the tap and select the appropriate alkaline/acid setting. Touch the "POWER" key and the red
indicator in the key lights on. However, for both models it takes a few seconds for the ionization
process to begin. This is because the ionizer flushes through the stagnant water that is still in the
ionizer from its last use. If you’ve used the ionizer within the last half an hour you don’t need to wait for the prompt.
Don’t Use Hot Water: do not use really hot water through the ionizer as this will damage the filter
and ionization chamber. Warm is fine, but hot is not. You can boil ionized water with only minimal
loss of pH and antioxidants.

What if I am in a very hard or soft water area? If you are in a very hard water area then you may need to change a setting on the
machine called the TDS. You can find out if you are in a very hard/soft water area from your local water board. If you are in a very
hard water area (300 TDS or over) then you need to set the TDS setting to be 14. If you are in a very soft water area (under 75
TDS) then you need to set the TDS setting to be 9. To do this follow these instructions:
How to Adjust the TDS on the VS-70?
Hold down the Plus and Minus buttons at the same time until the screen turns orange. If the screen does not turn orange, press
the “OK” button and start again. You must touch the Plus and Minus buttons at precisely the same moment. As soon as the screen
turns orange, press the following buttons in sequence: Menu -> Plus -> Menu -> Minus.
The screen will show the TDS setting on the top line. Press “OK” immediately. Notice the number above the green bar graph. If
you have soft water, press Plus or Minus until you see the number 9. Press “OK”. The system is now adjusted for soft water. If you
have hard water, the machines are already set at TDS 14. However, you may still check it. If it’s not set properly, press the Plus
button until you see 14. Then, press “OK.” If you do not press “OK” in time, the TDS will not be saved. Make sure you know what
step is next so that you do not delay in pressing the correct key. After TDS is set, press the Plus key and you will see “EXIT”. Press
“OK” and you are back to the main screen. Remember if you fail to press any key in the time allotted, the machine will reset itself
back to the main menu. If this happens, you will need to repeat the TDS sequence.
How to Adjust the TDS on the Miracle Max?
Press and hold "MODE" for three seconds to enter the setting display.
Double click "ENTER" to enter the TDS window. The current TDS setting is shown on the screen.
Press "+" or "-" to select the TDS you want and press "ENTER".
Press and hold "MODE" for five seconds to exit and save your setting.

How long does the ionized water last?
There are four benefits of ionized water, and they last for the following amounts of time:
- pH: lasts up to 3 weeks in a sealed container
- ORP (antioxidant content): lasts up to 8 hours
- Mircroclustering: 3-4 days
- Active hydrogen: 5-10 minutes
In an ideal world, you will be able to drink 50% of your ionized water within a couple of minutes of producing it. If you do want to store
the water and drink throughout the day, keep it in an airtight container and try not to shake it too much as this hastens the ORP loss. A
good idea, if you’re taking a bottle with you is to fill it right to the very top so that there is no room for the water to splash around in the
bottle.
How long does the filter last?
The internal flter (PJ-6000) lasts 20,000 litres - approximately 10-12 months for a family of 4. The replacement flter costs £39.99. On
both the Miracle and VS-70 there is a filter life indicator that displays on the panel showing a % of filter life remaining.
How long does the pre-filter last?
The C3 Pre-Filter also lasts 20,000 litres. Please note that the pre-filter is not necessary to the running of the Chanson ionizers, you do
not have to use one - it is entirely optional.
Can I drink the ionized water hot/cold?
Yes! Drinking the ionized water hot or cold will not effect the qualities of the water. Boiling the water reduces the pH and ORP very
slightly, but not significantly, so feel free to use the ionized water with your tea & in cooking.
How much ionized water should I drink per day/hour?
You should not drink more than 1 litre an hour, as this can overload the kidneys. As a general rule of thumb:
o Maximum amount of ionized water a day: 1oz per pound of body weight.
o Minimum amount of ionized water a day: ½ oz per pound of body weight.
o Always check with a qualified doctor before making any changes to your diet. Please see our disclaimer on page 16.
What are the tiny bubbles in the ionized water?
This is the active hydrogen in the water. The ionization process increases the concentration of hydrogen molecules and this is what
raises the pH level of the water.
I have just started drinking ionized water and have got cold and flu like symptoms (e.g. weakness, nausea, and headache). Is this normal?
When you first begin to drink the ionized water you may experience detox symptoms. This is perfectly normal, although it is always
recommended that you check with a health professional if you have any concerns. Start drinking the water at the lowest alkaline pH
level (Low Alkaline Setting) for the first 7-14 days etc and slowly increase the alkalinity over time. Many detox symptoms are a good
sign, as there are toxins which needs to be flushed out like acidic waste and chemicals. This is the body’s defence mechanism!
Our weakest body parts stores pollution/acids which are reflected as symptoms/pain in certain weak body parts. These may initially
increase, but will eventually decrease as our body flushes out the acidic waste.
Can ionized water be drunk during pregnancy, trying to conceive or breastfeeding?
It is not recommended to start drinking ionized water during pregnancy, while or trying to conceive or breastfeeding. When you first
start drinking ionized water some detoxification will be encouraged and it is not recommended to detox and release toxins into your
system during pregnancy. You should always consult a qualified doctor before making any changes to your lifestyle.
Can I drink ionized water with my medication?
You should NOT drink ionized water while you take any prescribed medication. Do not drink ionized water for 30 minutes before or
after taking medications. This is because the ionized water can dramatically increase absorption rates and medications are designed
and prescribed based upon normal absorption times.
How are pH levels & antioxidants measured?
pH levels of the water can be measured in two ways. Firstly, pH can be tested using a digital pH meter (our favourite is the pH Testr
from Oakton). However, if you do not want to buy an expensive meter you can use the pH dye solution that you received with the
Chanson ionizer. Just a few drops will give you a rough indication of the alkalinity of the water.
It is important to note that no matter how much of the dye you add, the colour will not change based upon this. It is also important to
note that these indicator dyes are not able to measure strong acid water and only go to pH 5.
It is not possible to test the pH of the water using pH strips such as the pHion Stix or the Energise pH Strips. These strips only work on
bodily fluids by reacting with enzymes.
Antioxidants in liquids are measured using an ORP meter, available from American Marine USA. To test for the existance of antioxidants
in the water, you can add an iodine solution (available from most chemists). If the ORP is negative then the iodine solution will not
change the colour of the water. Add 4-5 drops to 250ml. If you do the same to tap water (which has a positive ORP) then the water will
turn yellow.
Can I make my baby’s formula with alkaline ionized water?
In the case of infants (until about a year old), since breast milk or milk is the only thing they consume, the intestinal movement is
generally different from adults, and the use of alkaline ionized water is not encouraged until the infant begins to consume more
sophisticated foods. In any case, alkaline water should not be used to make powdered milk for infants. Use the purified water (pH 7)
setting instead.
What if I am in a very hard or soft water area?
If you are in a very hard water area then you may need to change a setting on the machine called the TDS. You can find out if you are in
a very hard/soft water area from your local water board.

Can you become too alkaline?
It really is not possible to over-alkalise for the vast majority of the population. The body creates acids naturally through daily processes
such as metabolism and we need to remain alkaline by eating green, fresh and healthy, by drinking clean water, by exercising and by
managing our emotions not to be stressed, anxious or angry. If you eat really badly, never exercise, are chronically dehydrated and still
have a urine pH of over 8 then you are in the minority of people who ‘might’ over alkalise.
If you were to over alkalise your body would moderate the same way as it does when you are over-acid. And considering that most
people are over-acid 99% of the time, the rare occassion of being over alkaline will not be any worry!
Soda, beer, coffee, juices as well as almost all of the foods we eat can have PH levels of 5 or lower, one cup of coffee needs 20 glasses of
ionized water to neutralize. Getting frustrated or angry floods the body with acids, it is not easy to become alkaline. In fact, if you are
living a ‘normal’ lifestyle it is almost impossible!
Why is the tap plastic and not metal?
The tap on the VS-70 is constructed from plastic as extensive testing showed an extended product life and safety.

Alkaline 3
pH 9.0 - 9.5
Used for daily drinking - this is the alkaline, ionized water to drink every day! Also used
to soak fruits and vegetables to increase antioxidant content of the food
Alkaline 2
pH 8.5 - 9.0
Great for fatigue and sleepiness. Drink the water at this level for 7-10 days after drinking
the first level of alkaline water for 7-14 days.
Alkaline 1
pH 8.0 - 8.5
Drink the water at this level for the first 7-14 days of owning the ionizer. This level is still
highly alkalising and antioxidant rich. If you move up a level and feel nausea, move back
to this level.
Filtered Water
pH 7.0 - 8.0
Use this level when taking medications (see faq on page 3) and when preparing
powdered milk for your infant.
pH 3.0 - 6.0
Acidic 1: Great for the skin! Water at this level can be used externally as a make-up remover,
toner, cleanser and more. You can also use the strong acid water for this purpose unless
you have highly sensitve skin. Acidic 2: Great for cleaning and washing.
pH 3 and below
Antibacterial and sterilising when below pH 2.9 so can be used to clean the floors,
kitchen, bathroom and windows. Keep in a spray bottle to use around the house.

troubleshooting
The ioniser is not producing alkaline/acid water
Solution 1: What are you using to measure the pH produced by the machine?
Please ensure that you are using the pH testing kit included with the machine. This is produced by a third party to accurately and
independently measure the pH of the produced water.
DO NOT USE pH testing kits from pharmacies, Energise pH Strips or pH Stix: these are only designed for testing the urine and saliva but
not the water. DO NOT USE Pool testing kits: these only have a small pH range of 6-8 and are therefore not able to test the pH level of
the water outside this range.

Solution 2: The water flow is too fast
If the water flow is too fast you will not get the expected result in pH. The water flow should be as follows:

Miracle model: max effective fow rate is 2 - 2.5 litres per min i.e. 1 litre in 30 seconds
VS – 70 model: max effective flow rate is 1.5 litres per min. i.e. litre in 40 seconds
You can test this by timing how long it takes to fill a 1 litre water jug. If you need to adjust, turn down flow rate on your water tap to
50% of current level
Solution 3: pH water testing is carried out too quickly after turning on the ioniser

After you turn the ioniser on there is a warm-up period.
•
Before you take a sample wait 10 sec after the voice says “in process”, after the power has been sent to the plates.
Solution 4: pH testing kit is faulty (very rarely the case)
Correct testing colours:
o
Purple: highly alkaline (is in some cases too strong → increase water flow or change the setting)
o
Blue: 8.5 – 9.0
o
Green: 8
To calibrate the pH Metre that we supply, put the 7.0 buffer solution into a glass, turn the metre on, put the sensor into the buffer
solution and press and hold the CAL button. A CAL symbol then appears on the machine, which will begin to flash. Once it stops and
goes back to the normal screen it has finished calibrating.
Solution 5: Machine is faulty
Absolute test to find out if there is a problem with the machine:

Take a sample of tap water and note the colour
Turn the ioniser to strong alkaline setting
Reduce the water flow as much as possible (so is like a spaghetti string coming out of the machine)
Collect sample from both spouts
If there is no change of colour compared to the tap water reading then check that the hoses are plugged in correctly i.e.
the acid/alkaline tubes are going into the correct holes in the machine
If the tubes are connected correctly then there must be no power going into the plates
In this case, check the fuse under black cover on bottom of ionizer. There are 2 types of fuse connections. One will press in and quarter turn then pop out, the other is a normal screw out type. Remove fuse and look at glass- a burnt fuse usually has a black burn mark on the glass.

Solution 6: Source water is too soft
You will need to check with your water board to see if you have very soft water in the area. If so, you will need to use the calcium
cartridge as per the instructions you received with your ionizer. This will put the extra minerals into the water to enable the ionisation
process. Please also refer to the FAQ on page 6.
Solution 7: Is the machine over 6-12 months old?
This may be due to the electrobath being clogged up. To clean this, please follow the instructions below:

Remove filter cartridge (the cartridge is the filter itself) from filter cup.
Remove filter cartridge from filter Cap. (make sure you have the flat clear disc removed from inside the filter cap or from the top
of filter cartridge)
Remove water from inside the filter cup by tipping it out
Warm 8 ounces of water. Warm only not hot.
Mix 3 heaping tablespoons of citric acid powder into the water and stir until dissolved. (check with chanson or your local
pharmacy for pure citric acid powder)
Pour citric acid water mixture into filter cup and screw filter cap on. (Do not install filter cartridge)
Turn ionizer on to the “purified mode for 3-4 seconds only and turn water off. MUST BE PURIFIED SETTING ONLY!
Let soak for 1-3 hours.
Run water on “purified” setting only- for 10 minutes.
Test water, if desired improvement is not seen then repeat procedure up to 3 times.
Re-install filter with flat rubber disc on top.
I am testing the pH levels of the water with a digital pH meter, but I do not get the desired results?

Make sure meter is calibrated

Every digital pH meter needs to be calibrated using a calibration solution
Digital pH meters do not like to go from strong acid to strong alkaline water very quickly as they are normally used for pool water at around 7.5. Make sure you rinse the metre under tap water and then recalibrate before testing again

Check battery
Check the battery as it might run low giving inaccurate readings
The ioniser does not produce acid water
This water should turn yellow when you tested. Acid water with a PH of 4 or lower is antibacterial, the difference between a 2.5 and
a 4 is, the 2.5 up to 3 will kill on contact, a 4 may take 30 seconds to kill the bacteria, either way the acid water from 4 pH or lower is
amazing for the skin.
If you are having problems then follow the steps below:
1.
Water Flow rate is too fast
If the water flow is too fast you will not get the expected result in pH. The water flow should be as follows:
o
Miracle model: max effective flow rate is 2 litres per min i.e. 1 litre in 30 seconds
o
VS – 70 model: max effective flow rate is 1.5 litres per min. i.e. litre in 40 seconds
You can test this by timing how long it takes to fill a 1 litre water jug. If you need to adjust it - turn down flow rate on your water tap to

In order to get acidic water the excess iron has to be removed from the water
The C3 pre-filter can handle some iron, but not extremely high levels of iron

My Vs-70 screen goes crazy with Chinese words and other weird pictures.
Unplug the main power cord for 15 seconds and re-plug.
My machine is making a long beep sound, what should I do?
The beeping sound is the result of the machine being bumped or jostled. It needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. This will
resolve the immediate issue of the beep. To keep it from happening again, make sure that your water ionizer is not dislodged (especially
when you are under the sink).
Ioniser is producing water with changing pH levels (variation between e.g. 9, 9.5, 8.5, etc)
The levels of pH and ORP are all dependent on the source water going into the machine. It is a good idea to test your tap water for a
few days to see if you have daily fluctuations in your tap water.
It is actually a very good thing if you have slight variations in the output. The ioniser is reproducing the clean, alkaline, antioxidant
water that would have been produced by nature thousands of years ago. The qualities then were produced from pure rain water
rushing over waterfalls and river beds. In the same way as an apple doesn’t contain exactly the same nutrients in each one, the water
we would have consumed would have had natural variations.
Our bodies have evolved to respond very well to these variations. Slight variations in the output of the ioniser are therefore much
closer to nature and work very well with our bodies. Obviously if the ioniser is varying by larger amounts i.e. from 9 to 8 rather than 9.5
to 9.2 etc. then you would need to let us know.
Why is my water white or cloudy?
The cloudiness is from the Calcium Carbonate particles. If your water is on the hard side, then it usually carries a lot of dissolved calcium
that is evenly dispersed in the water and is invisible. When this water goes through your ionizer a strong negative charge or ORP (ideal
to help your body absorb the water) is created. In basic terms, this charge makes the calcium particles grab onto other calcium particles
so that they are no longer evenly dispersed. These clumps are seen either floating in the water or sticking to the surface of your
container. Rest assured that you are getting a very high level of very absorbable calcium in your ionized water. If the appearance bothers
you, reduce the level of pH and this will usually reduce the amount you are seeing in the water.
My touch screen ionizer won’t turn on.
Most often, this is due to having wet hands. The touch screen can’t sense your touch if your hands are wet. Dry your hands and the
ionizer should turn on. If that doesn’t work, clean and dry the touch screen, as water/dirt can stop it working. If it still doesn’t work,
please contact us.
My urine pH isn’t changing.
Doctors say it will take 6-8 months for your urine pH to change. When you are detoxifying your body, the urine pH may temporarily
become more acidic.
Which spout does the acid water come from?
When using the “acidic” setting, the water flow will reverse and mild acid water will come from the main flexible spout.
The Chanson Miracle Max and VS-70 upgraded models deliver acid water from the main spout on both acid menu settings
allowing sanitation of the alkaline pathway and enhanced convenience.
During the cleaning cycle the streams of water reverse and acid water is coming from the main fexible spout.
Is there a cleaning procedure I should do after my machine has reached its second year?
Yes, please read the cleaning instructions on page 10.
How do I unlock a Chanson ionizer
If the ionizer is in lock mode for all countertop models, no buttons will function.
With the Miracle Max press and hold LOCK for three seconds. The LOCK indicator in the LCD display lights on with a voice prompt
indicating that the LOCK function is activated. Switching to other water levels is impossible after the LOCK function has been activated.
Press and hold LOCK for three seconds again to cancel the LOCK function.
If the ionizer is in lock mode for the VS-70 different buttons and selections will still work but you cannot change pH level. To unlock VS70 press menu button and if you do not see the word “lock” on the screen then press the plus button until you see lock, then press “ok”
you should hear a voice say “pH unlocked”. To lock the VS70 onto a certain ph level first turn ionizer on to the level you want it locked
to, then press menu button, then press plus button until you see the “lock” option and press “ok”.
Cleaning Instructions
General Usage Guide for all Chanson Ionisers
When making strong alkaline or acid water there is a major concentration of calcium
happening. Most of us make our strong water and just turn the machine off.
This allows the concentrated calcium to sit and settle inside the ionizer plate cell.
This will dramatically increase calcium build-up in the plate cell.
There is an easy fix for this situation that will prove to lengthen the time between cleanings
needed. Simply switch to "purified" mode after making strong water and flush for 15
seconds. Many of the ionizers we have seen that have premature calcium build-up inside
are only because of this reason.
Chanson C3 Ppre-filter Instructions
Flush pre filter without attaching to the ionizer.
Flush for 10 minutes then let it rest for 10 minutes. Then flush again for 5 minutes.
Failure to flush your pre filter before attaching the ionizer will result in
shortened life and effectiveness of the ionizer.
Citric Acid Bath Instructions
Please carry out the following instructions every 12 months to prolong
the life of your ioniser.

1. Remove filter cartridge from filter cup: press button on the left side of the ioniser.
This then releases a door that pulls out. Unscrew the top (filter cap) from the filter cup.
The filter cartridge in located inside.
2. Remove filter cartridge from filter cup. (Make sure you have the flat clear disc removed
from inside the filter cup or from the top of filter cartridge)
3. Remove water from inside the filter cup by tipping it out.
4. Warm 240ml / 8 fluid ounces of water. Warm only not hot
5. Mix 3 sachets of citric acid powder into the water and stir until dissolved
6. Pour citric acid water mixture into filter cup and screw filter cap on. (Do not put cartridge
back in)
7. Turn water off and then turn ionizer on to the purified mode for 3-4 seconds only.
8. MUST BE PURIFIED SETTING ONLY!
9. Let soak for 1-3 hours
10. Turn water on to purified setting only for 10 minutes
11. Test water, if desired improvement is not seen then repeat procedure up to 3 times.
12. Re-install filter with flat rubber disc on top.
Citric Acid Details
Contents: Citric Acid Anhydrous 100% (CAS: 77-92-9 EINECS: 201-069-1)
Main hazards: irritating to eyes. If there is contact with the eyes,
bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists,
consult a specialist.
Other hazards: this product has a relatively low toxicity rating and no
handling problems are likely to be encountered providing normal safe practices of
hygiene are applied.
Store in cool and well ventilated area. Keep away from direct sunlight. This should not
be used as a food.
Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area. Avoid the formation or spread of
dust in the air.

We invite you to try out our ionisers and enjoy the benefits for up to 60 days. We are so sure that you will be satisfied with your
Chanson Ionizer that we offer you a 60-day money back guarantee. If at any time in the first 60 days you wish to return your unit,
it must be returned in an “as new condition” and in its original packing and we will give you a full refund, less 10% restocking fees.
Shipping fees in this case are non-refundable and are to be the sole responsibility of the customer. Any shipping cost incurred when
providing free shipping will also be deducted.
“As new condition” means the ionizer is not scratched, damaged or broken in any way and is returned with all the hoses, connectors,
parts, manuals and DVD’s etc. The box must be kept in very good condition, retain the 2 blue inlet protectors and the see-thru ionizer
hose inlet protector, leave the plastic protective sheet on the ionizer face and DO NOT adjust the TDS value above 14 in the ionizer settings.
All Ionizers shipped in the UK require an adult signature to be provided upon delivery. Energise UK Limited is NOT responsible for lost or
stolen packages. If the post office or delivery confirmation shows that your package was delivered, please contact your local post office
or delivery service. An option to purchase delivery insurance is offered if this is a concern.
Energise UK Limited cannot be responsible for any delay in the delivery of packages, or for any delay caused by customs inspection of
International orders.
Return Policy for Replacement filters, Pre-filters and Ionizers
We sell only the highest quality filters and inspect every batch in our facility. Subject to your rights pursuant to our standard terms
and conditions and this Returns Policy all filter and Ionizer sales are final. We will only issue a refund in respect of a defective filter or
Ionizer if you notify us of the defect within a reasonable time. We consider a reasonable time to be within 10 days of delivery. After
this time we will either repair or replace the filter in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty. If a filter is damaged in shipping we
will send a replacement if you notify us within 10 days of delivery. The damaged filter must be returned to us within 10 business days
of receiving your replacement filter otherwise we reserve the right to invoice you for the price of the unreturned filter. Your legal rights
are not affected by this Returns Policy. Please contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau if you require further information regarding
your legal rights.
Important
No return can be accepted without our prior authorisation. Please phone 01604 670 820 for a “Returns Number” before returning any
products to us. For your protection, we will not accept any shipments without a valid “Returns Number” clearly labelled on the outside
of the box and the “Returns Form” completely filled out and placed inside the box. This is to avoid not knowing whom to credit a return
to.
We will notify you of your refund once we have processed the returned item. You can expect a refund to be sent within 2 business days
of our receipt of your return but this is an estimate only.
Return Procedure:

the “Returns Form” with the returned product. Clearly label the packaging with the “Returns Number” on the Outside. No
refunds or replacements will be issued without a “Returns Number”.

All product returns to Energise UK must be accompanied by proof or purchase, such as the original purchase receipt, invoice,
copy of order or an emailed version of these confirmations. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products must be secured properly for shipping and packed appropriately. When shipping you must include all accessories,
cables, CDs, and manuals. If you have any questions on packing procedures, please contact customer service for guidelines. Items
returned with missing accessories or damaged due to improper packaging are subject to higher restocking fees.

Product Return Acceptance Policy
All returned product that does not meet the following criteria will not be accepted for refund and will be returned to customer.

No refunds or exchanges will be issued on products that are not directly purchased from Energise UK Limited;
•
Defective on arrival product must be returned unused in its original box with all accessories including all materials pertaining to
the product, such as the cables, manuals, power cords, power supplies, software, etc in the original packing unused;

All products returned for monetary refunds must be accompanied by an “Returns Number” (please contact customer services to
obtain an “Returns Number”) and proof of purchase. This does not affect your legal rights. Please contact your local Citizens

Products must be absent of visible markings, such as pen ink, labels, Velcro, magic marker, stickers, paint, oils and grease, glue,
tape, etc.

Energise (UK) Limited Ionizer Warranty relating to Chanson Ionizers
The VS-70 and Miracle models have, a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects arising in the course of normal domestic use,
which begins from the original date of purchase.
The Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and if the ionizer was sold by Energise UK Limited or an authorized dealer/ reseller of Energise UK Limited. This warranty does not apply where you are purchasing the product as a business customer.

Repair work can only be done through the Energise UK repair centre in Wellingborough, Northants. Please thoroughly read the
owner’s manual and watch the installation video before attempting to use your ionizer.
How the warranty works and what is covered:
For the first five (5) years from the date of purchase, we will attempt to repair all defects arising as a result of all failures due to
manufacturing defects which occur during normal use. All parts and labour are covered under this warranty.
This is a “repair or replace” warranty - Energise UK Limited will always attempt to repair your unit, if repair is not possible we will
supply a replacement unit at our discretion. As a Consumer you may have certain rights at law in relation to the products being sold or
supplied. Please contact the Citizens Advice Bureau if you require further information as to the extent of those rights.
All Customers take full responsibility for any shipping costs to and from the repair centre for warranty work and for any duties or customs fees incurred where applicable.
What is not covered or what will void my warranty:
The Warranty is void if the faucet or ionizer has been opened. All ionizers and faucets are factory sealed. Please never attempt to
service the machine yourself as this will void your warranty and could cause serious bodily harm.

Floods under the sink, or overhead plumbing leaks, which can cause water to enter the machine. Please be sure you have no
plumbing leaks before installing the ionizer
Any failure to replace filters in a timely manner- the filter not only cleans the water but also protects the ionizer from damage
caused by particulates in the water. Filter replacement time should never exceed 14 months please refer to owner’s manual for
specific details
Any misuse or abuse, such as dropping the unit or knocking into the unit with heavy objects
Lighting strikes, power surges, and faulty circuitry in customer’s electrical system or acts of God
Setting the TDS value over 14. There is a special adjustment of TDS in a back menu mentioned only on the installation video, this
allows customers in different areas to fine tune the machine to their water hardness, 14 is the max setting allowed, never set the
TDS value above this number
Changing any settings in the advanced menu, other than setting the TDS to 9 or 14 according to the water type in your area
Commercial type usage. These Ionizers are built to last however they are designed for residential use. These ionizers have a
20-minute safety shut off to prevent floods from unattended use and damage to the unit. For the purpose of this Warranty,
commercial usage is considered as; letting the machine run for more than 20 minutes at a time or for more than 4 hours a
day total. (This usage is ok from time to time where special needs arise, but not as a daily routine.) If your needs will exceed
these “residential” parameters please contact the party who you purchased the Ionizer from for “commercial use” product
options

Excessive water pressure. The water pressure of your home should not exceed 60 psi, this is the national plumbing code standard
for water pressure in all homes and is not a special requirement unique to these Ionizers. Be sure to have your water pressure
checked before installing. Call your local plumber for inspection, or you can purchase a water pressure gauge from your local
DIY store and test it yourself. If your water pressure exceeds 60 PSI, all of your plumbing appliances are in jeopardy, please
take this seriously. (There is not a reputable plumbing appliance on the market that does not have this exclusion to their
warranty, if you do not see it on other ionizer warranties you should be very suspicious.)
Please note; the Warranty does not cover the exterior finish on the machine or faucet. The faucet finish is extremely durable under
normal use and is intended to last many years. Do Not use harsh detergents or scrubbing type sponges to clean the faucet; a damp
clean paper towel followed by a dry paper towel will be sufficient to restore the finish.
Suggested Maintenance:
Please refer to your owner’s manual for scheduled maintenance requirements. Ionizers operating in hard water areas should be sent in
to the service/repair centre for a thorough internal cleaning once every 2-3 years and will help to ensure many years of reliable service.
We highly recommend servicing your machine regularly; currently the cost of a service is £49.99 plus shipping costs. Please contact

Limits and exclusions:
There are no express warranties except as listed above. Energise (UK) Limited is not responsible for damages arising out of the use of
any unauthorized attachment. This Warranty service is available by contacting Energise UK Limited or one of its authorized dealers.
You must acquire a “Returns Number” and print a return receipt to include with the ionizer before shipping. You must include the
“Returns Form” when you send the ionizer in for repair or return.
