From Hickory (~55 miles):
— From I-40 Exit 123-B, take US 321 North to Blowing Rock. (Please note: Roadwork is occurring on U.S.
321 through Blowing Rock. At times on weekdays, a detour will be required along Main Street in Blowing
Rock. Directions remain unchanged, and added time is negligible.)
— Immediately after the underpass, turn right onto the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the top of the ramp, turn right
to onto the Blue Ridge Parkway South.
— Travel approximately 14 miles to the US 221 exit at Milepost 305 (less than a mile after crossing the Linn
Cove Viaduct.) Take US 221 South 1 mile to the Entrance Gate.
