She studied medicine at King’s College and then Westminster, qualifying in 1985. After gaining her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1988, she started training to be a radiologist at St Bartholomew’s, spending a year in research at St Mark’s. In 1993 she started her job as a Consultant Radiologist at St Mary’s and the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital. Her sub-specialty area is musculoskeletal imaging. She obtained her MBA in 1995. In early 2001 Sarah left the NHS to work independently.
