NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course (BPSC)
Cost: $150.00
8-hour course including classroom and range time covering the following:




Knowledge and shooting of both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation and ammunition
Shooting fundamentals, shooting from bench and two-handed standing positions
Cleaning of various pistols and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure,
Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course certificate.
NRA Rifle Orientation – “AR-15” (FSRO)
Cost: $150.00
8-hour course and including classroom and range time covering the following:




Knowledge, history and shooting the AR-15 style semi-auto rifle
NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, AR-15 parts and operation, and ammunition
Shooting fundamentals, shooting from bench and standing position (plus sling use)
Cleaning the AR-15 rifle and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA
Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate.
NRA Home Firearm Safety Course (HFSC)
Cost: $50.00
A great “Guns 101” starter class for those new to firearms
4-hour classroom-only course for firearm knowledge and safe gun handling covering:




NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling and primary causes of firearms accidents
Firearm actions and parts; how to load/unload certain action types; ammunition
Basic firearm cleaning and care as well as safe storage of firearms in the home
Benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.
Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm
Training Program brochure, and course completion certificate.
NRA Range Safety Officer Course (RSO)
Cost: $150.00
9-hour course conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility covering:



Roles and responsibilities of an RSO and range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
Range inspection; range rules; range briefings and basic emergency procedures;
Firearm stoppages and malfunctions and basics of addressing them.
Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program
brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, an Instructor Application and a Course Evaluation form.
Being finalized and planned for offering beginning Q1 of 2015:
Concealed Carry Weapon Course (CCW)
Cost: $150.00
Full day course with classroom and range covering CCW for both WI and UT permit applications
NRA “Refuse to be a Victim” (RSBV)
Cost: $50.00
Strategies for home security, carjack avoidance, cyber safety, and use of personal safety devices.
NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course (PPIH)
Cost: TBD
Full day course on basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety, responding to a violent confrontation,
firearms and various laws. (Requires prerequisite shooting experience such as BPSC)
NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Course (PPOH)
Comprehensive and intensive in its approach to equip the defensive shooting candidate with the skills needed to
survive serious adversity. Level I is a full-day with Level II being another ½ day.
