This coming week, weather permitting, we are going to Window on China.
It’s a 80-minute drive from the school; we’ll want to get an early start
so don’t be late! You can check out the park’s web site at:
www.woc.com.tw/index_en.aspx to learn more about it. There are water
play activities there, so campers should bring their swim suit if they want
to get a little wet. Please note that we will be returning at 5:00pm.
Because of the distance we will be traveling and the number of things
we can see and do there, we want to extend this field trip a bit. We
will order and eat lunch there. We’ll meet you outside the TAS Lobby!
Window on China 小人國 Return at 4:30-5pm

Hi! I’m Dora and I am a newly
graduated student from Ryerson
University’s Performance Acting
Program in Toronto, Canada. I
love exploring new places, like
here in Taiwan! I also enjoy canoe/portage tripping, hiking,
kayaking, running and of course
theater! I can’t wait to meet and
get to know all you campers. Fun
facts about me: I play the French
horn, I downhill ski, and I love
ketchup-flavored chips.
Hi everyone! My name is Ariel
and I just graduated this year
from TAS. I am going to school
in Paris next year on a transfer program to USC! This is my
second time being a counselor for TYPA and I'm so excited! I love playing games and
going on the field trips. I can't
wait for the week to begin
and to meet everyone. I know
we're going to have a blast!
Hi I am Kevin! This is my third year
as a camp counselor, and I am very
excited to be back again. I look
forward to having fun with all you
kids and meeting new people! A
few years ago, I attended the TYPA
basketball camp and had a lot of
fun, mainly because my counselors
made the camp very interesting. I
will bring the same enthusiasm my
counselors had to this year’s
camp!
Three new counselors introduced each week!
