Writing a Root in Simplified Radical Form
If doing the square root of a number will result in an
irrational number, there is another way to simplify it.
Here are some terms we will need to know.
Perfect Square: a number whose square root is a whole number

Writing a Root in Simplified Radical Form
A radical is simplified when its radicand has no factors
that are perfect squares.
To put a number into simplified radical form:
1. Find a perfect square that divides into the radicand
2. Split the radicand into 2 factors that multiply to the # you started with
3. Do the square root of the perfect square and put it in front
