Organelles Work Together
Cell Skit Guidelines
Your task is to write and perform a skit about organelles that work together in a cell. Each student
in the group should take on the role of an organelle. Creativity is encouraged, but you must meet
the following requirements:
✓ The skit must include at least six organelles: lysosome, ribosome, cell membrane,
Golgi apparatus, nucleus, and mitochondrion. Additional organelles and/or
“characters” may be included.
✓ Each organelle must play a meaningful role in the skit related to cellular functions.
Be sure to detail how organelles work together to solve the problem.
✓ The skit must include a problem that needs to be solved. You may use ideas from
Cell Command, such as repairing a cut or dealing with a pathogen. You may also
use original ideas, but be sure the information you include is scientifically accurate.
✓ The skit must have a beginning, middle, and end. In other words, it should include
a plot, which are main events that are presented as interrelated sequences.
