KID'S LAND AT FRONT SLOPES
If you get cold, warm up in a Lappish hut next to a blazing fire while enjoying for a free hot juice. It is
also possible to bring along your own packed lunch or grill sausages in the hut or in a lean-to. There
are free poma and rope lifts for children. You can borrow sledges, helmets, sliders and stigas for
children. Also ski school does lessons in Kids Land for smaller kids. Kids Land entertains children
daily 9.30-17.00

Leevilandia has a covered carpet lift and a traditional pome lift (free for children smaller than 130

Would you like to see wolves, reindeers and pure Siberian Huskies? Mr. Reijo Jääskeläinen, the
owner of the park has remarkable and long history with Siberian huskies, he has been racing and
breeding these arctic dogs over 30 years. He has trained his animals for several movies and projects.
The kennel is still working and breeding high quality working and racing Siberian huskies.

At the Kompiainen animal farm you can nurse, feed and brush the cute farmyard animals. During a
guided tour you will meet among others Sulo the mini pig, Ilmari the male goat and Kirppu the shegoat. They enjoy been brushed while the goatling takes their daily nap. Kunkku the pony waits to be
fed his hay and to be rubbed while Musta-Pekka the henhouse’s rooster hides the mistress’s egg who
knows where! These and many other animals live in an idyllic setting in the yard of the old

Samiland
Open again daily between 10.00-17.00, located at Koutalaki in Levi Summit. An indoor and outdoor
exhibition, which presents the history and present day of the European Union’s only ethnic group,
the Sami. Exhibition of Sami’ mythology and photographic exhibition “Sami’s magical light”. Tickets:
12€/adult, 10€/pensioners and students, 9€/children 7-16 years, 0-6 years free of charge, family
ticket 24€ (2adults+2child or 1adult+3child). Tickets from Cafe Spiella in Levi Summit or from the
Tourist Information. You can go by car/taxi or take the Express cabinlift to Samiland (lift is open

Särestöniemi Art Museum
(in Kaukonen, 49 km south of Levi) Open Tue-Sat 12.00–18.00 (closed on public holidays). Entrance
fee: 12€ adults and 10€ children/students /pensioners. Family ticket: 35€ (2 adults and 2 children 716 years). Groups: 10€ /person (min. 15 people). Free entrance: ICOM card, children under 7 years
old. Guided tour 25 € (1-1,5 h) should be reserved beforehand. The Särestöniemi Museum reserves
