Thank you for registering for the KidSport Fun & Fitness Corporate

We’re here to help make your team’s fundraising goal a success. Check out some of the creative
and easy fundraising ideas
that put the “fun” back in fundraising!
Simple, but effective, ideas!
Host a Bake Sale at work: Grab some helpers to help you out, make
some goodies and appeal to your co-workers’ sweet side!
Host a Penny Drive: Pennies are on their way out the door, so why not
collect your pennies and loose change for a good cause! Don’t forget to
cash your pennies in before turning in your pledges!
Jelly Bean Guess: A fun and easy way to engage your co-workers, family
and friends! Charge a fee to guess and the closest guess wins the jar of
jelly beans!
Coffee and a muffin/donut: Grab some coffee and donuts or muffins from
the local Tim Horton’s and sell them at your workplace.
Jeans Day at Work: Charge a fee to wear jeans at work. Be sure to
check with your employers to ensure their support. KidSport can
provide stickers to help bring awareness for your campaign.
50/50 Draw: Who doesn’t like to win money? Include a 50/50 draw
with one of your other fundraisers, or use as a stand-alone. Tickets can
be purchased at the Dollar Store to be used for the draw. Sell your way
to some easy fundraising cash!
Bail Me Out: Handcuff willing participants and let them go free when
they raise “bail” money.
Sticky-Fly: Sell pieces of duct tape for donors to stick your group’s leader
or volunteers to a wall.
Popcorn Fridays: Make and sell popcorn during breaks at work, or
buy bags of Boom Chicka Pop @ Costco and transfer into smaller
bags to sell. (delicious and healthy).
Sno-Cones: On hot days during breaks, sell sno-cones or ice cream
for a cool refreshing treat, that will help with your fundraising.
Hold a Car Wash: Get volunteers to help advertise and promote,
and help wash the cars, with proceeds going toward the cause.
Go Hairless: Volunteers commit to having their heads/faces
shaved if a specific amount of money is raised
Have you checked out Boomers yet?
Get your co-workers out for a day of
fun & set up a fundraiser around it.
You can include 50/50 and sell great
treats!!

BBQ Time: Celebrate the weather and throw a BBQ for
co-workers, family and friends. Let us know and we can

their change into a jar for a couple weeks.

items for you to sell for your fundraiser.

for odd jobs, etc.
“Night Out” Ideas
Tumblers – Host family and friends for pizza, lasagna, ribs, caesar salad and garlic toast. They
charge $15 a plate, so if your team sold tickets for $25, your profit would be $10. You can print off
your own tickets and sell them, but if you want Tumblers to print them off, they charge $0.25
cents. They require a minimum of 50 people and a deposit of $100 to hold your spot. TIP: If you
book during the week you will have a better turn out. Phone 584-8888 and ask for Jim, Reid, Kara
or Jen to book your night out.
Trivia Night Out – Book an evening out for drinks and play a trivia game between co-workers or
family and friends. You can put the funds towards your team’s fundraising goal and enjoy a night
out with great company!
Press Box – (Steak, rib or burger night). Same idea as the pizza night, you can pick between the 3
fundraisers that they have. The meals would cost $10, $12 if you include beer for steak & burger,
and $11 for ribs or $13 with beer. You decide how much you want to sell the tickets for ($17-$25 is
recommended). Remember the more you sell them for, the more you will raise! To get started, call
924-0111 and ask for a manager, and tell them that you would like to book a fundraiser. Note: They
will print tickets for free.
Golden Mile Bowling – Book lanes at the Golden Mile on a Friday or Saturday night for 1 - 5 hours.
Cost is $55 per lane or for 2 hours, $60 per lane. The more lanes you book, the more tickets you
can sell. Six people max can fit on a lane, and you can sell tickets for $15 -$20 per person. There
are 16 lanes total you can book – you don’t need to book them all at once, just what you think you
will need. The Golden Mile Bowling has a full menu and full bar for a full night of fun! Call Rick,
Don or Len @ 586-2626 to book this party.
Italian Night – If pasta is what you prefer, call the Italian Club at 525-8181 for a pasta night!
The Tap – The Tap has steak, pizza or beer and wing nights. Steak: 7oz. steak, baked potato, bun,
tossed or caesar, and 20oz draft $12.50 a plate (tickets must be sold for minimum of $20). You can
book Sunday to Wednesday, 6 – 9 pm or 5 – 8 pm, for up to 140 people (note: you need to confirm
2 days ahead; so if you confirm 80 people and only 60 show up, they will still charge for 80). Pizza:
all you can eat Vern's light pizza (light meaning less meat). You pick 2 kinds and it's a buffet, tossed
salad buffet and 20oz draft. Beer and wings: boneless or regular wings and 2 pints from 6 – 10 pm,
same price. The Tap will print tickets for free. You can sell 50/50 or have a raffle as long as you let
The Tap know. Call Nancy or Jeff @ 761-2777 to book.
Bonzinnis – Offers steak nights that you can book on Saturdays. This includes an 8oz steak, baked
potato, garlic toast, salad and a 12oz house beer for $12. You can sell tickets for whatever price
you choose ($20 - $25), they will print off tickets for free and they also have a spot for 50/50 or
raffles. There is no minimum number of people, but max of 150 people. You can phone 586-3553
and talk to any manager to get started.
