during the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday sessions.
This year’s conference will feature an extended array of interesting technical sessions in management and
leadership, industry updates provided by national speakers, and conference events that will benefit all
attendees including an AWWA Section Forum facilitated by AWWA Vice President Jacqueline Torbert.
Conference registration begins at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 followed by a luncheon at 11:30
a.m. As in the past, we are grateful to have the Associates Committee sponsoring the Wednesday luncheon
and the keynote speaker.
Technical contact hours (TCH) will be offered again this year for the technical sessions.

with the appropriate registration fees by Monday, May 1, 2017. A $50 late fee applies after May 5.
 Technical Session Registration: Registr ation for the Technical Sessions only. Does not include any
other conference activities; only to be used for those attending just the classes for the day.
 Hotel Registration: Hotel r egistr ations must be made dir ectly with Hotel Viking, by Fr iday, May 1,
2017. Breakfast, dinner, taxes and fees are included in the room cost. The number of rooms available are
limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Please register early!

Jacqueline Torbert
American Water Works Association
Jacqueline Torbert has been a member of AWWA since 1992. Currently she is
the Utilities Water Division Manager at the Orange County Government in Orlando, Florida.
Jacqueline has served in numerous capacities within the Florida Section,
including Section Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and General Policy Director and
is the current chair of the Florida 2030 Committee. At the Association level,
Jacqueline has served on the Ad Hoc Governance Review Committee, Diversity
& Member Inclusion Committee and the Strategic Development Advisory Group
for AWWA’s Philanthropic Initiative.
In addition to AWWA, Jacqueline is a member of the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, the American Public Works Association, and the Water
Environment Federation.
In 2009 Jacqueline was honored with the Fuller Award. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Stillman College. She
lives in Oviedo, Florida with her husband Spencer
