2017 Scholastic Writing Awards
...for creative students in grades 7-12
with an interest in writing!
Last year we received more than 320,000 submissions
from talented students across the country and provided
access to more than $10 million in scholarships. Since
1923, the Scholastic Awards have recognized the
exceptional vision of our nation’s talented teens.

The Gedenk Award for Tolerance, sponsored by the Gedenk Movement,
invites students to create original works of art or writing to increase
awareness of the importance of tolerance to safeguard a peaceful
society, as well as consider their own role in cultivating tolerance.

upload your work.
Download a submission form that is
signed by a parent /guardian and an
educator, and then mail to the CAWP
office with a $5 registration fee for each
submission ($20/ portfolio) by Dec. 2,
2016.
(The fee can be waived for students who
