living in FRUIT BAT FOREST.
At night we turn the lights on so the
bats go to sleep and during the day
we turn the lights off and the bats
are awake and fly around.

These animals have huge appetites; an adult can eat up
to 80% of its own body weight in a single meal - the
same as an adult human eating over 550 quarter pound
burgers in one sitting!
10 SWIM TIME AT THE ZOO!
The HUMBOLDT penguins at Chester Zoo ‘fly’ through the
water at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. Humboldt
penguins have special transparent eyelids that act as
goggles. A Humboldt penguin’s dive lasts for around two and
a half minutes in the wild.
