We enjoyed mee ng with you all and some of the comments from the surveys were very encouraging for us –‘My child has really improved in her overall educa on and is happy in her environment’. ‘Since the changes there has been a lot of progress in the school and I am very happy with the way forward. Both my children are very happy here’. ‘My child always looks forward to coming to Nursery that means she is happy at school’. ’I totally agree that the school is now transformed, led and managed well. We totally appreciate all work and efforts put together in achieving this. This is where I had wanted my child to be. Things can only get be er’. We do agree that things can only get be er and are working hard to become an outstanding school. We have taken your sugges ons on board on how we can also improve and have already addressed a few issues that were raised and we will also look at assessment informa on on your child coming to you more regularly. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to the School Councillors and House Captains from Year 2 that helped so enthusias cally and ably – well done Ayo, Chima, Yusuf, Fredi, Rhys, Madison, Finley and Rebecca – you were a credit to Tilbury Pioneer Academy – and thank you to the Mums and Dads that allowed them to be here and came back and collected them. If you are unable to bring in, we can collect from the local area—

Nature/Gardening Tips from the RSPB – try to resist the urge to dy away dead stems, flowers and seed heads, as they provide shelter and food for bugs and birds. Channel your energy into crea ng a dead wood pile instead, using larger s cks and logs – if you’re lucky a slug‐munching hedgehog or toad might take up residence. Do you need access to the internet to pay a bill or send an email? Look no further! Parents are invited to use the ICT suite from 3.10 – 4.00 p.m. on Monday a er school free of charge.
