Castrol Radicool Concentrate

PRODUCT DATA
Castrol Radicool Concentrate
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Castrol Radicool Concentrate is a concentrated general purpose automotive engine coolant
based on hybrid additive technology which can be used in new and older generation petrol and
diesel vehicles with aluminium or cast iron engines.
Castrol Radicool Concentrate does not contain amines, nitrites or phosphates.
Castrol Radicool Concentrate meets AS2108 Type A and ASTM D3306 specification
requirements.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
Castrol Radicool Concentrate can be diluted with water to 33%-50% by volume with good
quality (soft) water, it provides effective heat transfer, antifreeze/antiboil protection and corrosion
protection of the typical metals used in an automotive cooling system (copper, brass, steel iron,
aluminium and solder).
For maximum system protection, in a well maintained system, and at a dilution rate of 33%- 50%
by volume replace Castrol Radicool Concentrate every 250,000km or 4 years, whichever
comes first or, as otherwise directed by the manufacturer.”
NOTE:
Castrol Radicool Concentrate is compatible with Castrol Anti-Freeze Anti-Boil and can be
offered as a replacement for Castrol Anti-Freeze Anti-Boil coolant.
RECOMMENDATION:
Mixing different coolant formulations is not recommended, as this may cause precipitation of
inhibitor components and could result in over heating and reduced corrosion protection.
Ensure that the cooling system has been adequately flushed with clean water before use.
