SUMMER READING CLUB FOR ADULTS
INFORMATION SHEET
Congratulations on joining the 2014 Summer Reading Club for Adults! The
Merrick, North Merrick, Bellmore and North Bellmore libraries are excited that
you have chosen to be a part of this joint venture. Just a few guidelines to keep in
mind:
- The club is open to adults (18+)
- Sign-up begins on Monday, June 23rd at your Library’s Reference Desk.
The program will conclude with a party open to all participants which will
take place at the Merrick Library on Wednesday, August 13 at 7 P.M.
- For each book you read, fill out the enclosed rating form. Be sure to include
your name, barcode and phone number or e-mail at the bottom, as this will
serve as your raffle ticket. Reviews may also be submitted online through
your library’s website. Although there is no minimum requirement, the
more you read, the better your chance of winning a prize (one prize per
person). You must have a valid library card from one of the four
participating libraries in order to win. While you do not need to attend the
party to win one of our many small prizes, you must be present to win the
grand prize.
