Beedon News Dear Parents and Carers, Summer Issue 2 Thursday 5th May 2016 Christian Value: Perseverance Perseverance. Next week sees our Year 6 pupils sit their SATS tests. They have worked really hard over the last year and are well prepared to sit the tests. Thank you to our year 5/6 teachers and teaching assistants for their hard work preparing the children for the tests and providing targeted individual and group support where needed, and to parents and carers for all your support with homework tasks over recent months. We think Year 6 have earned a break from homework so no formal homework will be set for them until after ½ term. Please remind your year 6 children to have plenty of sleep and a good breakfast before coming to school. All we ask of the children is that they try their best and we hope they will appreciate the picture message below! Year 2 children will also have their SATS tests during the month of May. The testing arrangements for year 2 are less formal than for year 6 and Mrs Green will decide on which days to give the children the papers.
