What is the KC Summer Slam Series?
The KC Summer Slam Series is a series of
FOUR Tennis Slam Events that will be hosted
during the summer months. These events
will allow an opportunity for KC Area tennis
players to continue to work on their tennis
games outside of the season.
Players will earn ranking points for each of
the Slam Events. These ranking points will
be tracked throughout the course of the
summer, and we will crown a KC Summer
Slam Champion at the conclusion of the
Summer Slam Series.
Additionally, each player will also earn points
for their current High School team. We will
track these points throughout the course of
the summer, and we will crown a KC Summer
Slam Team Champion as well.
Ultimately, the goal of the KC Summer Slam
Series is to promote more competitive tennis
for KC Area players during the off-season.

Which Division should I compete in?
during Summer Slam Events
Players will register for the level of competition that they played for the previous season. Players can play UP a level, but cannot play DOWN a level.
Do I have to be a current HS player to
play?
Trophies awarded for
Graduating Seniors are NOT eligible for the Slam Events. There is no limit on how young a player can be. You may compete even if you did not play for the HS Team during the season.
KC Summer Slam T-Shirts
will be given to each
entrant that competes in
a Summer Slam Event
1st and 2nd Place at
EACH of the Summer
Slam Events
What Doubles Division do I play if me
and my partner are on different levels?
Doubles entries will have to play at the level of the highest ranked partner. For example, a Varsity and JV tandem MUST play in the Varsity Bracket.
