Letter from the
President and CEO
Dear Friends,
Florence Fuller Child Development Centers’ program services have evolved over the
last 18 months as our campuses continue to strive to become a village that transforms
and empowers underprivileged children and their families through education. Our
approach has strategically morphed into a holistic treatment to end multi-generational
poverty through supporting the needs of not only the child but of their parents, siblings
and caregivers through onsite family-strengthening support services.
We know that children do not develop in a vacuum. Multiple variables impact a child’s
successes and failures, and if one critical piece is not addressed, the whole child remains
underdeveloped which negatively impacts the foundation on which they must build for
the rest of their life. One of the largest and most essential components affecting a child’s
development is their family. We are in a unique position to not only educate the child but
to also support and educate their family helping to create the safe and stable homes we
want our children to go home to every night. Our long-term community partnerships with
socially conscious corporations allow us to produce excellent outcomes, strengthening
our mission to break the cycle of poverty through education.
We sincerely thank our community, friends and family for supporting us through this
vital and necessary transition to family-focused programming. We are honored
and humbled to be the recipient of such strong support and belief in what we do at
Florence Fuller Child Development Centers.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Bernard A. Finkelstein

Florence Fuller Child Development Centers rely heavily on the private support
from our community. Along with many extremely generous donors, we believe
that the best return on investment is ensuring that our most needy young
children have the opportunities they need for a lifetime of success. This support
helps bridge the gap between our government funding, the amount our parents
are able to pay, and the actual costs essential to providing quality educational
and enrichment programs.
The Florence Fuller Child Development Foundation, Inc. was created in
2002 to provide for the long-term support of the Centers. Your gift to the
Foundation ensures that our children gain the necessary skills required
for their future successes and that their families are safe, stable and
positive contributors to our community.
Please consider the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers in
your will or estate plan.

Community Impact Statement
FFCDC’s high-quality early education programs fill a
niche for economically struggling parents who have
limited options for making the most of their children’s
immense learning potential while giving them a
foundation for success in school and in life. For all
children, innovative socio-educational experiences
improve academics and language, as well as help them
become more emotionally adjusted. For less fortunate
kids, programs like those provided by FFCDC have
been shown to provide significant differences in their
lives, not just while in school but for decades later.

TRANSFORMS
Thousands of children and families who have passed
through our doors have had their lives transformed
Malcolm’s Story
Malcolm, a developmentally delayed and language-impaired 3-year-old
enrolled in our East Campus’ preschool program was unable to feed
himself, talk or interact with his peers. Within months of our teachers’
individual work with Malcolm, his parents, and a local elementary
school, his progress was astounding. Malcolm grew from a frustrated
little boy into a happy, playful child who interacts well with his peers,
clearly verbalizes his needs to his teachers and parents, and participates
in the classroom at the same level as his friends. Our teachers have
turned around the lives of many Malcolms, which is a testament to their
dedication and true concern for the well-being of our children.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
There are many ways in which you can help the children and families
of Florence Fuller Child Development Centers. Every donation of time or
money that you choose to give supports a child who could one day be
a key figure in helping your family stay healthy, secure and safe. Happy
and healthy families begin at Florence Fuller Child Development Centers,
and we could not do it without you.
