Tammy set the pace in Retrieving Trials throughout his career, amassing 516 Championship points, the dog competed in 11 National Retrieving Trials and finished the course on all occasions. As a competitor in Obedience Trials, Tammy was a prolific winner. As a 6year old Tammy was placed first at the Sydney Royal Tammy. Winning the Australian National UD Championship as a seven year old. Winning the Australian National UD Championship the next year and in this same year winning the National Retrieving Championship. On one occasion Tammy achieved the perfect score of 200 points in a UD Trial Tammy was an outstanding dog with all of the characteristics of a top class Retriever which a judge looks for in a gundog and was the model of consistency.
