PRODUCT BENEFITS
Resistant to over-stretching
Made from polycaprolactone material
100% Elastic Memory
• Retains sufficient elasticity during application to
achieve optimum moulding and comformability
• Excellent conformability and mouldability
• E
nsures ability to return to its original sheet
form
• P
articularly suited for the construction of hand splints
that are invariably of a more intricate nature and
design
• Easy and forgiving to handle when in use
The material can be riveted, strapped, bonded and
strengthened
Self-adhering when heated
• Edges trim and finish well
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
• F
or use with larger applications, such as fracture
bracing and lower limb treatment where strength and
durability are a necessity
•May be used to produce a comprehensive range of
products and functional braces
• Can be used in both a water bath or with dry heat
•Heating time is around 2 minutes at a temperature of
70-75˚ C/160-170˚ F
• Suitable for serial splinting
Excellent drape for upper body extremities
• Offers multi-functional capability
• Rubber based synthetic
• Makes it readily remouldable
Translucent appearance on reaching activation
temperature
• D
isplays moderate yet controllable stretch characteristics
Ideal for use
with larger
applications
• A
llows the material to conform to the body contours
without wrinkling
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
• Ideal for use in upper limb splinting applications where
conformability and mouldability are of paramount
importance
Particularly suited
for the construction
of hand splints
• Readily cut or trimmed with scissors, the edges become
self-finishing
•Heating time is around 1-2 minutes at a temperature of
65-70˚ C/140-158˚ F
• A
llows for precise positioning of the material
on the area to be covered
• Prevents accidental self bonding after heating
