Angle Tips
When working with trigonometric
functions in main, the choice of angle
setup is important - either degrees,
radians or grads.
Set the angle mode to Rad, enter sin(30)
and tap EXE.
The is no exact value for the sine of 30
radians, so sin(30) is returned.
The selected setting can easily be overridden using the Math1 menu.
Now set the angle mode to degrees.
Now enter sin(30°), using
for degrees.
This over-rides the radian setting and
returns 1/2.
