Describe your GO experience from today. Think back to the

Chapel Musings - A brief review of this week’s chapel
It was a Wednesday to GO and serve others. FRCS is committed to providing opportunities for students to GO beyond themselves and meet the needs of others. Today some of the FRCS students sat with the elderly, played games at Inner‐City Christian School, served food to the homeless, learned how to share Christ with Muslims, cleaned and repaired buildings, sang songs with preschool children, and talked about peace with the FRCS elementary students, all in the name of Jesus. It is a privilege to share God’s crazy love through serving. Table Talk/Drive Time - Whether you are sitting down to dinner, or find your family eating on the run, there are ways to talk about
the weekly FRCS chapel experience. Maximize meal times and time driving in the car to ask questions and discuss the chapel topic. Encourage
each family member to share and engage in the conversation.
Describe your GO experience from today. Think back to the beginning of the year – How has your GO experience changed? What about your heart – has it changed through the process too? Is your heart toward service any different than it was last fall? 2 Peter 3:18 challenges us “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” Have you been open to growth through GO each month? What are some hard things about growth? What does growing in grace look like? How about growing in knowledge? Each day we are growing; either to be more like Jesus or not. Which kind of growth is happening within your life? Honestly look at your heart. Ask God to grow you in His crazy love; that you might serve others through GO as He served us! Couch Time - As parents, we have the privilege of being the primary influence in the spiritual growth of our children. Set aside time to
reflect upon the chapel topic and its significance in your own life. Share with your spouse or a friend the impact of the chapel topic upon your own
heart and soul. Be candid with both yourself as well as a trusted confidant.
While your kids have been stretched through GO, how as the Lord stretched you? GO expands each student’s perspective about serving and life. How open have you been to God expanding your perspective about serving and life? Can you look back over the past several months and see growth? Who has God called you to serve? What has your response been? “If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit.” What kind of fruit is growing in your life? Examine your heart and life. Are the fruit of the Spirit evident in your serving and living? Remain open to God’s work within you, asking God to grow you to look more like Him each day. Pray also for your children to grow in Christ and exemplify Him in their living. May God’s crazy love shine through your living and serving! Beyond
the Fence - Growth in becoming more like Jesus Christ is not for the wellbeing of the family alone. Take what God is showing
you and doing in your heart and that of your family beyond the fence of your home into the neighborhood, community, city and world.
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” John exhorts us to love others, because God loves us. Serving in an expression of God’s love. Chose someone to serve this week (neighbor, teacher, missionary, family) in God’s love. Upcoming Chapel Schedule - You are invited to join us for any chapel! We would love to have you.
