The inaugural presentation of the Alan St John Holt Trophy took place at the Hampshire Health, Safety & Environmental
Group’s 27th Biennial Conference on Wednesday 15th October 2014 at Fasset, Langstone Technology Park, Havant,
Hampshire.
Entries from apprentices and apprenticeship organisations from the public or private sector had to demonstrate a basic
understanding of hazard and risk and how they could be managed. They could be actioned collectively as a group or
individually with the aim of promoting safety awareness and occupational health issues in those shortly to join industry or
commerce.

their finding were;

Occupational Safety Association as a special tribute recognizing his lifelong, most valued, valuable and tireless contribution
in the field of occupational safety and health.
Allan was well known nationally and internationally for his work in health and safety and was without a doubt a true leader
