PURPOSE: To expose Greater Waco leaders to innovative
community and economic development ideas, programs,
initiatives and best practices, which may be adapted
and implemented in the Greater Waco area.
Ranked 5th on Forbes’ Regions to Watch in 2015 list, Nashville is ON FIRE right now.
Along with its success in urban and economic development, education, tourism,
health care, talent attraction and public-private partnerships, Nashville’s friendly
people, hip culture and the prospects of rubbing shoulders with Taylor Swift make
it a fun place to spend some time. During our three days in Nashville, we will touch
on some Waco-relevant topics, from the business community’s priorities for a
strong educational system, to the ability to attract and retain talent and workforce
to an impressive innovative and entrepreneurial community.
