Strategies include: √ Parents become less accepting of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use amongst their children. √ Parents gain skills around setting firm boundaries and consequences for illegal alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. √ Adults (School staff, coaches, youth workers, employers, etc.) in the community become less accepting of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use amongst youth. √ Adults (School staff, coaches, youth workers, employers, etc.) in the community gain skills around setting firm boundaries and consequences for illegal alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. √ Businesses support measures that prevent illegal alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use amongst youth. √ Youth feel empowered by adults and gain knowledge and/or skills to resist use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. In order for your grant application to be considered you must answer the following questions (maximum 2 pages). Project Plan: 1. 2. Please describe how you will coordinate or partner with others on this project? If appropriate, please describe any input you have received from youth on your project. Budget Plan: 1. 2. Include an overall budget for the project including all sources of revenues and expenses. Funding requests for indirect services such as food and beverages will be reviewed for compliance with Federal grant administration guidelines. Specifically, how will these requested funds be used in your project? Evaluation: As part of your award you will be required to complete a project evaluation form and give a brief presentation explaining your project at a meeting of the Hopkins Community Coalition: ONE VOICE for Reducing Youth Chemical Use, including how grant funds were used.
