Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Day 2
The trip departs Rome from the Roma Termini train station. The meeting point is in
front of the Nike store at the front of the train station. Please meet your trip leader
20 minutes prior to departure. Make sure to bring your passport and have it with
you on the bus, as we will be driving through border control. Travel to Croatia is by
private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. We make one 45 minute stop.
Upon arrival to Split, we will check into our accommodation.
Friday you have all day to explore Split and its surrounding areas. Bus2alps will
organize a white-water rating trip on the Cetina River (not included). Rating the
Cetina is an adventurous and scenic experience on one of Croatia’s great natural
landmarks. The rating trip will depart late morning. If you choose to not join the
white-water rating adventure, you can spend your day laying out on one of Split’s
beaches, join a tour of the Split city center, visit the Diocletian Palace, rent a bike
and ride up Marjan Hill, or take a day trip to local surrounding towns, like Omis. You
can hop on the local bus to the town of Omiš. which is located 25 kilometers from
Split and is where the Cetina River meets the sea.
Friday night there will be an optional pub crawl (not included) to the best of Split’s
bustling nightlife. Your guide will let you know when to meet Friday night if you are
interested in joining the pub crawl. If you choose to not join the pub crawl, the night
is free to explore Split’s many restaurants, cafes, and pubs.
Day 3
Saturday you have all day to explore the second largest city in Croatia and largest
on the Dalmatian Coast. For those interested, Bus2alps will organize a private island
cruise tour that heads to the island of Brač (not included) leaving Saturday morning.
Brač is known for its rolling hills, isolated bays, clear waters, and its views. Once on
Brač you will have time to explore the medieval buildings and secluded winding
alleys. You will climb back on board our private boat to enjoy lunch while we sail
to our second stop where you will have a few hours to relax on a beach and swim
before sailing home in the early evening.
If you stay in Split, you can spend your day laying out on one of Split’s beautiful
beaches, join a tour of the Diocletian Palace, go to Marjan Hill, or take a day trip
to local surrounding towns.

Day 3

Saturday evening there will be an optional trip to the island town of Trogir, situated
thirty minutes from Split (included). Here there are many great dinner options. Your
trip leader will provide you with recommendations of where to eat. We will return
to Split at approximately 23:00*. Aterwards, it is possible to check out one of Split’s
many great nightlife options.
Day 4
There will be an optional day trip to Bosnia that will depart irst thing in the morning.
Otherwise, the day is yours to do some last minute shopping in Split and relax on the
beach. Sunday is a free day to visit any of the sites you missed over the weekend.
Day 5
Monday morning we will depart Split for Krka. There you will have a few hours to
swim and explore Mother Nature’s incredible waterfalls of this Croatian National
Park. We will depart Krka for Rome. We will make one stop en route for dinner.
Optional Activities
Rating the Cetina River: Experience an
adventurous ride down Croatia’s natural beauty,
the emerald green Cetina River. Duck through
lush overgrown trees expanding over the river
and ind yourself in large scenic expanses as you
rush down the Cetina. When we’re all inished
and of the river, a traditional Croatian late lunch
will be included.
Private Island Tour: Spend your day cruising
around the coastline on a private boat and
visiting the island of Brač. Cruise includes a grilled
seafood, veggie or chicken lunch with bread,
wine and sot drinks. Brač is known for its rolling
hills, isolated bays, clear waters, and its views.
Once on Brač you will have time to explore the
medieval buildings, and secluded winding alleys
then climb back on board our private boat to
enjoy lunch while we sail to our second stop
where you will have a few hours to relax on a
beach and swim before sailing home in the early
evening.
Split Pub Crawl: Immerse yourself in a mix of
Split’s top pubs, bars, and clubs, while getting to
know other fellow travelers.
Walking tours: There a numerous walking tours
throughout Split that you can organize through
the hostel reception or your trip leader. The most
popular ones feature the Dicoletian Palace.
Day Trip to Bosnia: Spend the day exploring the
magniicent city of Mostar. Discover the winding
alleys and cross one of the world’s most famous
