+++ MEDITATION AND PRAYER CONCERNS Algart Hymn Sing

*The Invocation
Precious Lord, in worshipping a “more than” God, we strive for and expect
more than just the things of this limited world. Your promises were etched
in stone and gifted to us, that we might put our whole trust in them. In
order to do so, we need a “more than” faith to match our “more than” God.
Nurture in us a faith characterized by courageous action, rather than empty
words. By faith, through grace, we haven’t begun to see even a portion of
what you have in store for us. In Jesus’ powerful name we pray, Amen.

The Children’s Message
All children are invited to come forward to spend a few minutes with
Pastor Paul Bennett. As the children go to the Chapel, let us join together
in singing Hymn 494, “Kum Ba Yah” (Vs. 1).
Kum ba yah, my Lord, kum ba yah.
Kum ba yah, my Lord, kum ba yah.
Kum ba yah, my Lord, kum ba yah.
Oh Lord, kum ba yah!

The Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
