Sentence
A sentence is a group of words that forms a complete thought that makes sense.
A sentence can express a statement or ask a question. It can also express an
exclamation, request, command or a suggestion.
A sentence must have a verb and a subject. The subject is often a noun.
Remember a sentence must begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop
or the appropriate punctuation such as question mark, exclamation mark etc.

“I am.” is the shortest complete sentence in English!

The next thing to remember is that a sentence has two parts. The subject is the
person or thing that you talk about. The predicate is the part that gives us more
information about the subject.
