PlanetRisk Awarded Prime Task Order to Support Department of Navy
WASHINGTON, March 14, 2017 – Analytic Strategies, a PlanetRisk Company, has been awarded a $5
million prime task order (TO) over five years on SeaPort-e to support the Chief of Naval Operations
Office for Fleet Readiness (OPNAV N43) at the Pentagon. Whitney, Bradley & Brown of Reston, VA,
will be a subcontractor on this TO. Subsequent to contract award, the Fleet Readiness Division was
redesignated as OPNAV N83.
The OPNAV N83 Fleet Readiness Division is responsible for providing a comprehensive assessment of
Navy fleet readiness programs and assets, identifying operations and maintenance requirements,
issuing relevant policy, and providing analysis addressing the impact of shortfalls in funding.

Under this Task Order, PlanetRisk provide readiness analytical services support to integrate Fleet
Readiness within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. More
specifically, PlanetRisk will provide policy reviews, assessments, and recommendations for
improvements to ensure the coordination and alignment of naval maintenance policies, aviation
sustainment issues, and fleet cost reduction opportunities.
