PhosGuard J0852 is our conventional zinc phosphate, chemical formula: Zn3(PO4)2•(2-­‐4)H2O. This traditional lead and chrome free corrosion inhibitor is highly versatile and cost effective. Zinc phosphate is relatively inert chemically and is used successfully in a broad range of aqueous and nonaqueous coating systems. Zinc phosphate has low oil absorption and minimal effect on color and has little hiding power. The minimum recommended amount is 0.25 pounds per gallon up to a maximum of 4 pounds per gallon. ®
PhosGuard J0852 is used in the following specification coatings: MIL-­‐
P-­‐53022A, MIL-­‐P-­‐53030, TT-­‐P-­‐664D, MIL-­‐E-­‐52891A. Standard package is 50 pound multiwall paper bag shrink-­‐wrapped onto pallets of 2000 pounds. 2000 pound bulk bags available. SEM x2000
