Writers Choice
Playing a sport is a great thing to do because it is fun, and it keeps you in shape.
Well here at Kamehameha Schools we have many different activities and sports such
as Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, and more. One sport that there is is
baseball. There is a intermediate team, JV team, and a Varsity team. On each team
there is about 20 to 25 guys. We compete in the ILH to be the Champs. It’s great
to play Baseball for Kamehameha because you get to play with all your friends and
you have to work really hard because there is lots of people who try out and if you
want to be on the team, you have to do nothing but your best.
Math Problem:
Last year our
intermediate team was state champs and to accomplish that
we needed to have lots of hits total in the season. IF Matt
Yokota had 20 hits, Josh Nakamatsu had 4 less hits then
Matt, Nainoa Lederer had half the hits as Josh plus half the
hits as Matt. If Lawson had 1 less hit than Matt plus a third
of Nainoa Lederer’s amount. How much hits did Josh
Nakamatsu have? Nainoa Lederer? Lawson Faria?
